Ting Mark,DDS

I would like to start off by saying that Dr. Ting is not my dentist. He is my father’s dentist. His office is located within walking distance to Chinatown, so I love to come with my dad for his appointments. Since I’ve never seen him I’m not going to comment on his dentist skills…
My father has been seeing him for many years now. Since my father works on weekdays, he usually sees him on Saturdays. They are notorious for overbooking on Saturdays. 3 out of 4 times, we end up waiting 45 minutes past the scheduled appointment. This last week, we waited 1 hour and 20 minutes. No apologies and no explanation. What’s worse, this guy who came 40 minutes after us was ushered in before my dad. I asked the receptionist when my dad was going to be seen. She went to talk to Dr. Ting… and then 10 minutes later, my dad was sent to the back where another dentist saw him. No explanations for the change in doctors, no apologies.
I like to think of myself as a pretty patient and understanding person, but that is ridiculous. If they weren’t so willing to work with my dad’s horrible dental plan…
I have had my teeth cleaned at this place. Teeth cleaning appointments seem to be done in a timely manner.
