I found Dr Aquino just because he was 1 block away from my workplace back in 2000, but it was a divine luck!
Dr Aquino is the most awesome dentist ever. Over time more and more of my friends and friends of friends go there, and lately when I go in he or his assistant Percy will ask me if I know so and so, because they were referred by someone I referred.
In addition to being a very skilled and gentle dentist (I’ve never had novacaine when he fills my cavities, and I didn’t even realize it until one of my very dentist fearing friends agreed to come in for a long-​overdue checkup and was shocked because he was dreading the needle that never came)…
Ok, let’s do that again.
In addition to being a very skilled and gentle dentist, Dr Aquino and Percy are so friendly and laid back that I actually look forward to going to the dentist, and sometimes will drop in just to say hi if I’m in the area!
My friends & I make appointments to go one after the other and then we all chat away in the exam room, during the exam. I’m usually busting a gut with laughter at some point in the conversation, even while I’m getting worked on.
His patients take him & Percy out to lunch, and invite them to their kids’ parties– such is the amazing personable qualities of this office.
He takes lots of types of insurance and also has a practice in South San Francisco. Tell them Irene sent you — my goal is to eventually be connected to all his patients!
