Temescal Arts Center is an intimate, flexible, multi-​purpose space for movers/​dancers/​artists/​choreographers/​event planners/​and more curious people! Great for rehearsals, black box/​white box performances, music and art events, discussions, gatherings. With the white walls, there’s good opportunity for video projection.
The director is so down-​to-​earth and encourages experimentation. TAC is a unique space to play and share with other folks in a welcoming vibe.
Recently, they made some improvements so come check it out!
Also, love the location — right near restaurants & cafes and walking distance to Macarthur BART.

Seriously, who knew this little space existed? It’s such a cute little space for theatre/​classes/​art etc. I saw a very fun and thought-​provoking show produced by Round Belly Theater Co. A total Oakland DIY theatre troupe headed by some very smart young artists. A venue like this is great for fostering artists like them. I’m excited to see what else goes on at this center. Temescal is growing and evolving so much. So glad that they’re keeping the arts alive.
