Subway

I am really unsure if i should give them the benefits of two stars, but because it is clean and they do not have rude staff like most subway locations. I figured maybe they deserve one more then just one star.
My only problem with this place and it is a big one
THE BREAD IS NEVER FRESH! its always made early A.M. so if you go for lunch or in the evening expect hard some what stale EXTREMELY flaky bread.
Its very upsetting you wont know until after your at work unwrapping your lunch to terrible bread. Of course they always say its fresh but never is it ever! fresh… beyond upsetting…
This is the 5^th time i’ve made sure to just grab my lunch before coming to work at a different location but i do not always have time and after the 3^rd time its been pretty spaced out between weeks before i return i just forget and get upset all over again. I really wish they would just make the proper amount to leave int he warmer until there close to running out and remaking more this place is really lazy and sad

I love this staff the nice size sandwiches & the fact that they refill my soda! I work in their plaza & I love this place

Its my go to place when im at work and want to grab a quick bite. This place is average, employees are nice most of the time. Sometimes they don’t listen to what you want and don’t want. Sandwiches hasn’t let me down yet.

This Subway makes the best sandwiches. I’ve ate here a couple of times and every sandwich I’ve ever had here was excellent. The employees were very friendly and hospitable. Location is also great. Right off of the now famous Fruitvale Bart. Thankfully the rioters did not damage this Subway in any way. Use to be a Togo’s fan until I came across this Subway. Now I’m anti-Togo’s and anti-Quizno’s. Subway, eat healthy!

Swindlers. That’s what they do here.
I have been here many times before and, despite the $ 5 subway deals across the country that this chain advertises with a horrible jingle, this place refuses to honor that deal. They make all kinds of claims about extra charges and such.
But, today, I was really pissed… I looked at the menu and decided on the Chicken Bacon Ranch, which was priced at $ 5.09. I ordered it and the guy explained to me that bacon is an extra dollar. I said, no, I’m ordering a menu item that INCLUDES bacon, therefore I’ll pay the $ 5.09. Then another clerk comes over and she repeats that the bacon is $ 1 more. I pointed out where the item was listed on the menu and the price and they insisted that it’s another dollar for the bacon. I explained that I often order this sandwich, I am not asking for EXTRA bacon, and always pay the price listed on the menu board. The female clerk stated she has never seen me before and this has been the policy for months. She continued to yell at me that she’s never seen me in the shop before and I yelled back that she has poor customer service skills and is swindling the customers. I also told her someone could report her to the Better Business Bureau for false advertising… and maybe I’ll do just that.
