This place is the worst. I ordered pizza delivery for a party of 20 for my birthday, and it took them nearly 3 hours to deliver the food to my house. I kept calling and after the first hour they said they were «close». When the guy Finally got to my house he said it took so long because they don’t deliver to my area, but I only live 5 miles away from their location, and no where on the website did it say I was out of their delivery radius. The pizza was cold when we got it, and everyone at my party was hangry. I will never waste my money at this place again. They were extremely rude, and the food was not that good.
(This happened in July, and the experience made me so frustrated it took me this long to write the review…)

My boyfriend and I recently moved to the area, and noticed this close to our house. It’s a quaint little shop, but the owner is very nice, and their prices can’t be beat. We were hesitant to try it but we are happy we did! The food is delicious, I would even say better than Cybelles down the street. This place is a win-​win.

Solid and legitimately acceptable pizza with no major flaws. In the context of delivery pizza that makes it quite good.
Is it outstanding? No. The crust is pretty decent but the toppings are not the greatest or most flavorful and the sauce really does not bring a lot to the party. It’s extremely easy to imagine a better pizza. But this pizza is superior to most of the comparable options.

Let me start off and say the man was very gracious and very nice. But for one small salad and a large pizza was not worth the price. If it wasn’t for the Groupon I would’ve not done it. The floor is worn out from all the business from the years of not being maintained. Everything else seem to be very clean.
But the price was it worth pizza for a little bit of toppings. I don’t see what everybody says he’s got an attitude over he doesn’t it was very nice to me.

Don’t order from this place horrible customer service. I placed an order for pickup and when I get there 35 min later they never started my order. The place is dirty and nasty looking.

I had this pizza last night. I got a deal off groupon that said. 1 $ buys you a coupon for a large pizza with 2 toppings and a 2 liter soda. So i bought it. I called later that day to order and explained to him the coupon and the owner said he doesnt have a coupon like that, i told him that i bought it off groupon. I was reading it as your paying a dollar for the everything but that was my fault. But before i realized the owner said on the phone oh yea yea i have that deal. So after i order he tells me ok 45 minutes bye. I was confused is it delivery or pick up? So anyways im assuming his son showed up in 45 minutes to the wrong house and expected me to walk all the way down the street to get my food. So he tells me ok its 16 $ im like wait no i told the guy on the phone about the deal. Also (they forgot my 2 liter). So i gave the guy a 10 dollar tip anyways and he drove away. Not even a minute later the owner calls and yells at me «you have to give him the money i dont know what your talking about!» the worst customer service ever! So i explain the coupon to him again and he starts saying all this stuff to me and then hangs up me. With out explaining him self correctly. Yes it was my fault about the coupon but he should have better customer service skills than that especially if hes the owner. And because i am a pizza snob. Your pizza sucked it was dry and had old cheese on there. And how would i know that i ran a pizza business for 5 years so i fucking know what a good one tastes like! Never ever go here. I will always get my pizza at slice of hollywood.

This pizza is excellent, I always ask for it well done and they cater to my needs. Forget Domino’s or Roundtable and go here. It’s located in a safe area with plenty of parking. The pizza is affordable and the staff are professional.

Terrible restaurant. I order a pizza to be delivered at 6pm for a sick friend, placed the call at 2pm. Called the joint at 930pm asking where the pizza was at; guy said power has been off (right???) but phone line was working. Wouldn’t you inform your customers with pending orders that your pizzas wouldn’t be delivered?! Idiotic restaurant staff

I’m sad to write a mixed review of Romano Pizza because the pizza is actually ok. It’s not as good as places like Arizmendi or The Star but it’s solid, tasty pizza when you don’t want to travel out of the neighborhood. For pizza alone I’d give 3.5 stars.
The bad news is whether you actually get a pizza at a reasonable time is a crapshoot. ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ odds. We don’t even use delivery (we are within walking) which would probably make the odds even worse. About half the time we call something goes wrong: «Oh my delivery guy’s car broke down and I need to go pick him up, maybe we could make you a pizza in an hour.» «Oh, you’re here in 15 minutes like we said, sorry I haven’t made your pizza.» «Oh, you ordered one meat one veggie and we made two veggie, sorry.» They’re quick to try to fix their mistakes and really nice, but they make SO many mistakes I think they just don’t care at all about operational excellence… or even minimum competence.
I give them 1 star on their operations.
Go here if you’re willing to take a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ risk on your order being wrong, not ready on time, or some other weird thing happening that leads to no pizza in your hand when they told you you’d have it.
Sorry, Romano, I actually like your pizza and when I have time to waste and am in a forgiving mood I will order again.

Worse service ever!!!
Didnt feel like cooking today … so I placed an order on Christmas eve for pick up… an hour later i arrive… only for them to tell me they didnt understand what i said… he didnt know what the other guy did with the order. It wasnt made!!! They didnt even ask for our phone number or verify our order. WASTE OF TIME, GAS, AND ENERGY!!! Thank u Romanos Pizza that was REAL PROFFESSIONAL… RIGHT.?! I will not be ordering from them again!!!

Really good pizza and very fast delivery. Prices are also great.

First the bad. I asked for 2 cans of soda, the driver brought a 2 liter. The delivery took exactly 1 hour, definitely not used to waiting that long for pizza.
The good. I’m writing this about 11 min after getting the pizza, and half of its gone. I don’t even like pizza that much, but I know a good pie when I taste one. The crust is crispy, but soft inside. It’s been coated with garlic sauce (NO ONE does this with delivery pizza). The veggies are crisp as well. This pizza made my day, hats off to Romano’s.

So, I always have a tough time finding a restaurant to go to through
, and Romano Pizza came up. In my lingering days of pregnancy, I wanted some pizza. Stat. So, I went with this place.
The pizza was ready for pickup in 20 minutes on a Friday, and it was solidly decent. Fresh veggies, soft crust and not greasy at all. Will be back to use up my
gift card again!

Received a coupon for a free pizza with delivery or for delivery, for moving to the neighborhood. Skeptical as I am all with all offers that come in the mail I looked it over with a fine toothed comb and found nothing that seemed like a catch, and was almost charmed by the simplicity of the mail ad.
Gave them a call, and no answer with an answering machine that was not decipherable. Hung up, and thinking to myself that there is always a catch and now I just want pizza.
Within a minute an incredibly friendly and jovial gentleman called me back and I received apologies for them not answering, that they were running some sort of experimenting in the kitchen. He had me laughing and gave me the total of $ 0.00 for my order. No catch?
Pizza arrived on time by same jovial gentleman, he was very grateful to have my free business and gave me a hot pizza out of the sleeve. Pizza was much better than I expected, lots of toppings, bready crust and over all childhood reminiscent pizza. I admit I have been spoiled with sourdough crusts and gourmet toppings over the years, so for this category of pizza no complaints and will happily order from them again! No catch.

I will never order from here again. I placed an order at 9:06 pm. The operator told me 30 mins. At 9:54 I still have not got my pizza. I called the place and the guy who answered said he will be there in 7 mins. At 10:03 (8 mins) I called and they guy told me he will be there soon. At 10:08 now we are 1hr and 2mins the driver called me saying, «I think I’m out in front of your building. I take the pizza in and start eating. The pizza was hard and nasty. I ended up trashing half of the order.
I will not recommend this place to anyone.

By far the best delivery pizza in the hood, and we are somewhat of pizza snobs.
Every specialty pizza we’ve tried has been great. Just the right amount of everything and cooked wonderfully. The pizzas are unique and well done… the creamy garlic sauce is great. We also love our delivery guy! Super friendly and knows us by now, obviously appreciates us as customers. :)
The only reason they lose a star is because we’ve had a couple of mishaps… they have been 20 – 30 minutes late on delivery a couple times, and one time we called an order in for pickup and it was never put through. Nonetheless, it only took them about 10 minutes to make it while I waited. Will definitely continue to order here!

Not sure why this place has such great reviews, pizza we had was not great. Ordered delivery when we first moved to the area, and while ordering was easy, the pizza wasn’t.
Nothing special, and pizza sort of tasted like it had been frozen or some ingredients a little past expiration date.

The pizza «slices» here are HUGE. Each slice is actually two slices, and super affordable. This is a definite pick up or delivery place, seating is practically nonexistent, so don’t expect to have a sit down pie with your friends.
They have online ordering and delivery — I live down the street and have sometimes in moments or weakness (laziness?) had them deliver, which was always fast, the pizza arriving piping hot and melt-​y, like it was just out of the oven. I’ve had too many pizza deliveries that were room temperature nasty, so I’m very impressed by these guys.
Now I’m hungry for pizza, ugh! Romaaaanooooooo!
