I called this store to ask if they received any Founders KBS. The employee I spoke to gave me an ambiguous answer, and when I inquired further he told they had some but it was not available. When I asked him why, he told me they were«greedy» and keeping it for themselves. I’m tired of stores that have tried to hop on the craft beer band wagon and when they finally get something real good in stock, they won’t sell it, but instead, keep it for themselves. They’re like leprechauns protecting their pot of gold. Give me a break. I was a regular in this store, as I live in town, but will not be returning.

Kind of last resort place if you are really, really desperate. The place looks dirty and stinks.

Decent liquor store in downtown Oakland. They seem to have a good selection of beers and a nice selection of wines. The liquor store over at the Shop Rite is definitely better, but when you need something quick and don’t feel like dealing with the supermarket traffic, then Oakland Wine & Liquor Store will likely meet your needs.

Small selection, but some interesting wines. Staff was of no value. But it was convenient and I got some nice wines.

Pretty decent little place for craft beer right off of 287 in North Jersey. I love craft beer and happily drive an extra distance to find the best stuff. After finding out more about this place from New Jersey Craft Beer, I stopped in and was blown away by the options on shelf. Items that normally would have sold out in a day or two at a big craft beer store were here weeks later, just waiting on the shelves for me to snag. Some great Port Brewing, Lost Abbey, Allagash, Coney Island, Fegley, and many other good breweries await on their shelves. No you’re not going to find KBS sitting there months later, but if you like craft beer, you should swing on in and give them a try.

This place is your run-of-the-mill liquor store with chatty workers a maze for a layout. Normally I wouldn’t even bother rating this place, but it really grinds my gears when it used to close at 9 o’clock on friday nights. What is that? Extra star for special ordering me my Young’s Double Chocolate stout. yummmmmmmm

What a nondescript, shitty liquor store. The prices are bad, the selection is bad, and there’s quite a lot of trash working there. you’re better off going to bottle king or the shoprite liquors down the road.
