Very good food, atmosphere and a comfortable indoor/outdoor setting.

My Favorite date night place!!! Excellent food, and the ‘house’ wines here are better than premium wines elsewhere! Upscale yet cozy atmosphere. VERY out of the way place-GPS works great!

This is a cute little unexpected surprise, hidden in a residential area. If you didn’t know it was there, you would never find it… it looks like just another house until you see the lot behind it and the landscaped outdoor seating area. The bartenders are friendly, the outdoor seating is a nice space(tables nestled in among chimneas, fire pits and woods) and the menu has been expanded to include small plates, cheese plates, burgers, salads and a few entrées. The background music was a mix of folk/acoustic and really set a cozy, intimate tone. I have only two complaints about this place; one, their choice of wines by the glass is extremely lacking, limited to one or two choices. And second, the service. We had a waitress who could tell us nothing at all about the wines and we had to ask for our second round three times. She seemed friendly, but apparently overloaded with tables. I have to say, some sales were lost here. We might have been talked into a nice bottle of wine had we had a server who knew how to guide us through the wine list, and at the very least we would have had more than 2 drinks each during our 3-hour visit here(which was such because of the wait for our drinks) if the service was more attentive. If their waitstaff was more knowledgable about the wines and the service more robust, I would be happy to spend more time and money here. I like it here, I hope they do well, and I would come back, but I hesitate to do so with those of my friends who are really into trying new wines. And that’s a shame because… it’s a wine bar.

This hidden gem is right around the corner and you probably never knew it existed. The bar itself has been around since the prohibition and has taken many different forms over the years. The drink menu is extensive and they have a great wine selection. The food menu looks great but we didn’t try anything this time… The bartenders were friendly and we definitely be going back… It has great seating indoors and out and I encourage you to give it a try if a quiet bar off the beaten path is what you are looking for… Look no further…

This was a nice hidden gem for a while but seems to be getting a lot busier every year. We like to visit during the summer when the outside area is open. I have been inside also and it is nicely decorated and very comfortable but I enjoy the outside area. We come here to eat and prices here are reasonable for sure. The problem that keeps getting worse is the level of service. Our last experience was definitely our worst. How does multiple people order different food and each dish come out one at a time? Our party ordered several bottles of wine and a few of us were drinking beer. Very difficult to get a refill. What is most concerning is seeing the owners right there working along side the other employees slowing down service. Perfect example is bringing things outside and stocking them for customers as they show up. I understand but instead of having 3 people bring out and stock items how about one person do it and the other 2 wait on the customers all hovering around waiting for drinks and food? I would definitely not go back with a large group like last time.

Such a cool hidden gem that is off the beaten path. The bar is definitely the local kind of bar where you can become a regular. The backyard is really what shines though. There are a ton of tables, chairs, fire pits, and even a little gazebo for taking a bottle or two into the sun. With the fire, you can even enjoy a fortifying drink in the cold. Very nice wine list as well.

Very good selection of wine. This is a very strange location for a bar, and they have got to do something about there parking. parking lot very small and cars were jammed along the side entrance… could barely turn around to get out! We ended up having to park around the block

This out-of-the-way place is what you’d call a «real find.» You feel like in on some kind of «best kept secret.» Cozy. Friendly. Terrific wine list. Convivial enough to hang out with a group of friends, but quiet enough for a date night. We always enjoyed the limited menu here, to go with our wine. Now we’re concerned that they’re taking the place in a more formal direction, with heavier entrees. Doesn’t really seem to fit the casual, wine bar ambiance. I want to sample lots of fun and elegant small plates with my wine, and if I wanted chicken and mashed potatoes, I’d go to some restaurant. But it won’t keep me from coming back — this is a charming gem.

Great place for enjoying wine with friends. This is one of those times when you are torn about writing a review because it is still sort of an undiscovered gem and you want to keep it to yourself. You hope the crowds don’t discover this place. On the other hand, I love this place and want to see them thrive and stay in business. The atmosphere here is very relaxed, the space is attractively renovated, plenty of comfortable seating and, as others noted, the owners are very friendly and welcoming. Not a lot of food selections — a few apps in addition to the Tree Tavern pizza — but what a wine cellar. I should note, though, that they cook the pizza in a brick oven and it tastes even better than when we make it at home. We ordered one with mushrooms and they sauteed fresh mushrooms instead of using canned — really good. First time here we just ordered some glasses of wine from the menu card. The second time we found out there is an extensive wine list. Mike is super knowledgeable and will gladly describe the choices and recommend one to match your palette and budget. The last two times we visited, we had varieties I never even heard of and loved them. My advice — if you are ordering wine, talk to Mike. Only regret — they are only open three days a week. UPDATE — Now open more days and expanded food menu. Unfortunately, though, they are now out of Ripasso. Mike had a great Ripasso as good as some Amarones at a super price.

This is a neat little wine bar and outdoor grotto that you would definitely not expect to find in this location. More of a friendly relaxing and intimate neighborhood drink hangout than a place you go for a late night of partying. The place is all very tastefully designed and the outside area is absolutely killer in the summer time! Very friendly owners and service! We received free apps, a nice little personal tour of the wine cellar, and everyone was very welcoming. If you’re looking for a little place to talk and go out for the night without much headache and a great wine selection, this is the place.
