Nail Me Baby!

I’ve been going here for almost a year I am a loyal costumer buy still the Chinese ladies still don’t know what my name is I’m very offended their nail service is horrible I have for 30 min just to get my fucking eyebrows waxed they should have lowered their prices is ridiculous bad service overall

Today was my first day trying this salon out & definitely won’t be my last!!! I didn’t get the lady who did my feet name BUT she was really good. Very gentle, very careful, very neat. Now for my nails I just have to gush! Hannah did them & goodness was she goooodddd! She wrote so beautifully on my nails & was very friendly. I’ll be back with my sister. Don’t let the area scare you away, it is soooo worth it. Thanks ladies!

Absolutely Love this place. I’ve been @ Nail Specialist for 8 yrs but No more. The service was pleasant, the staff spoke perfect English. This was an AWESOME experience! I’m glad I came here.

First time trying this place out and so far so good. I was really happy with my full set of gel nails. The design I asked for came out really nice. The pedicure was really nice too, I really enjoyed the sugar scrub! Will come back to try again.

It’s located in a small lot with other stores; a beauty salon, a little Caesar’s and a laundromat. There is a small but crowded parking lot.
Inside the salon it appears very clean and decorated even though the design and colors are a little mismatched. 4 – 5 nail stations are set up along the wall to the left and the same with pedicure chairs on the right. There are only two seats in the waiting area.
They cannot/​will not do nails and feet at the same time, or any two treatments at the same time.
Against the wall opposite the entrance is a selection of their polishes and designs. They have an extensive collection, much more variety and quality than most of the shops in the area (essie, OPI, gel colors…).
Anna or Hannah helped me. She was quick and precise but she did cut me a few times while drilling/​buffing (and tried to super glue my skin back together). Overall the nails came out nice but it was a little expensive for a fill ($ 25).
My mom was with me. She got a pedicure. The nail tech moved pretty slow and didn’t follow directions or requests to her specifications. It took so long that my mom refused to get her nails done afterward. It was busy but not too crowded for a Saturday morning.
They don’t seem to be overly friendly, and I would say they are definitely over priced. I wasn’t offered a drink or a hand massage with my nail job. Pretty well staffed though, and quality work.
I would return to this shop but I’m not sure if they’re exactly what I’m looking for.

I’m about to gush here! I’m so so sooo happy I have found my new nail place. I have searched and searched and I have finally found where I will place my loyalty. Everything I look for in a nail shop was checked off. It was cute and looked current. It was clean the staff was friendly and interactive. They seemed like they wanted to be there and even offered suggestions. My lady (nu I believe) was amazing. She spotted a fungus on my nail right away and took all my old nails off and gave me a new full set. Even tho it was probably harder for her, she did was was right for me and I so appreciate that.
On to the actual service. They have a billion colors for regular polish and gel. They have loads of up to date designs and charms. My nail tech even went as far as to draw out the shape I wanted for my nails just to be sure we are on the same page. Shape is such a huge part for me and I really stress that it’s correct. She shaped and buffed my nails super fast and I can tell she was doing a good job because she didn’t have a lot of filing left to do after she laid the acrylic. Meaning she did it well. She took her time painting my nails too. My cuticles and the edges of my nails a super clean and the polish is even and shiny.
I can’t wait to go back for a fill and I will get a pedi next time. Their chairs looks really comfortable and clean.

I was faithful getting everything done at those but I finally tried this a few years ago for prom and fell in love i love it so so much. I love the people. The vibe. The music. The other clients that come in. Just a over all 5 star quality experience
One thing I don’t like is eyebrows and lashes they do a good job I’m just precise and faithful to my other one but I won’t let anyone else touch my hands or feet

Very poor customer service. No greeting upon entry. I say for 20 min and still had to flag down a worker for assistance. I came for a gel manicure with a specific design. The lady tried to discourage me because the request was expensive. She then coerced me to get a pedicure with the guarantee that she would take care of the manicure. She did not needless to say she did not. She then tried to overcharge me for a poor manicure. Do not go here

I passed by this place many times and was hesitant to try it at first due to it’s location. But, since it’s so close to me I finally gave it a try. And I’m proud to say this is my new nail shop! I really like this place, it’s actually really nice. The inside is fancily decorated, and with the music playing it sort of makes you forget where you are. This isn’t like other ghetto nail shops in the area with a buzzer to let you in or bars over the windows. And they do great nails and nearly perfect eyebrow waxes. This is coming from someone who is very particular with how I want my eyebrows, and often times at other shops I am disappointed, but that hasn’t happened here. I am satisfied every time when I leave. Plus, the staff is friendly. I’m really glad I found this place.
I would have given 5 stars, but the last time I went there I made an appointment and they still made me wait 30 mins, which was very inconvenient for me. If this place hadn’t already impressed me so much, I would have left. Other than that, I have nothing poor to say about Nail Me Baby. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it.

I have been coming here for over a year now, I used to go to this place by Bancroft but I didnt appreciate doing my eyebrow wax while im getting my feet. I also brought my little niece to get her mani and pedi which I paid half of regular price, the person that did it just put polish without cleaning or trimming the nails!
Im glad I found this place! I get my body wax and pedicure here. Nuh advised me to stop doing acrylic as it only ruins my nail bed (thanks for my nails being strong). I usually make appointments as Nuh gets really busy (she does everything from bodywax to nail arts).
Its clean, relaxing ambience and nice staff.

It was my first time here yesterday 10÷13÷14 and, I am very impressed with HANNAH. She did a beautiful gel manicure on me. But what I appreciate most about her service was that she was very THOROUGH with the manicure. My hands look very professional and presentable. THANK YOU HANNAH! Also everyone else is very nice, but ill be back to see my girl.

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been to other nail shops in this area of Oakland and I honestly think they could learn a thing or two from Nail Me Baby! The atmosphere of the shop is very relaxing and elegant. They also have a ton of choices for you from different colors to unique nail designs. Since I’ve been visiting them I don’t get my nails done anywhere else.
Once I got my nails done and within a day or two I made the mistake of doing something that caused my gel to smudge. I returned to the shop immediately and the young lady saw me right away, and didn’t even charge me to have my nail fixed. They have great customer service as well! :-)

I took my mom here for her birthday, and it was nice. At first I was hesitant about coming here because it’s in a plaza with Lil Ceasars and a laundry mat, but it was fine. We were seated right away, and there wasn’t anyone else inside. The ladies were friendly and very talkative. The did a great job on our toes and my moms’s hands. They have a large selection of regular nail polish and Shellac. They were playing R&B hits which set the tone. Nail Me Baby will be my new nail shop moving forward!
