Easy no frills massage. $ 35 an hour. Setting isn’t anything amazing, but didn’t feel sketched out. Manlai was awesome. Can’t complain about a thing really. No hassle for tip after. Was well worth it.

Great little spot. It’s no longer called Manlai’s Massage; it is now a beauty parlor or something by another name. But the neon «massage» sign is still up!
I walked in and she was available right then; she was very kind and generous, and the massage was fine, and it was only $ 35 + tip. She was very nice and made a little bit of chit chat. Offered me water afterward. Overall it was the best massage I’ve ever had at this price point. No hassle about tipping, either!
I would have liked a bit more pressure but I am a brute so that’s really more of my problem. My only real issue is that I mentioned that I had some aches/​pains in my neck and right shoulder at the beginning, hoping she would focus on that area, but she didn’t really do any more for that area than anywhere else. I wish I could give 4.5 stars because that’s not a huge deal.
Anyway great spot!

This is a great option for inexpensive deep good massage in the neighborhood. At $ 40/​hr you get a non-​personal in and out massage, always tip well though. Only minus 1 star because it’s cold in there and hard to relax entirely when chilly…

Manlai is awesome! After going to far-​sketchier Crystal Island a number of times on 5th Ave. (where I was asked for a $ 20-​$ 30 tip… very awkward), I found Manlai. The $ 40/​hr. deep tissue massage is a true bargain; she’s a dedicated professional and she’s working hard to make a life for herself and her family. She is strong enough to provide a deep tissue massage on a muscular person, but she’s also able to back off and be responsive to your needs. She’s also precise with her pressure points, considerably better than massages I’ve had in the past. Manlai cares about the clients’ health and she has a colorful personality. I have an injured index finger and each time I return she asks me about it and attends to it carefully. If you’re OK with a simple space, but are looking for a great massage at a reasonable price by someone who cares, Manlai is for you! An FYI– she may be moving to a space that has cheaper rent. If this happens, I recommend finding her!

Manlai is wonderful!!! She is extremely kind and cares very deeply about the quality of professional services she provides her clients. Her acupressure massage technique has been refined through decades of experience and training and is incredibly precise and skilled. She puts 100% attention and effort into her massages and is amazingly perceptive of the client’s needs and areas that need work. The most attentive and hard-​working massouse I’ve ever been to. I continue to feel great long after the massage. Manlai has a lot of integrity and is a true professional and delivers a very high quality service at an extremely affordable price. Enjoy!!!

Manlai is really excellent! She takes her time and puts some wonderful energy in to the message. It hurts oh soooo good… Reasonable on the pocket book as well. I’ll be going back to see her in the near future. I floated out of there, blissful!
