Had expectations cuz of all the good reviews but wow, my appointment turned out different than I hoped. Were all the other reviewers her friends?
Service was… offensive. She seemed put out to be doing my hair, like she was doing me a favor. Argued with me, refused to style my hair, wouldn’t honor the Unilocal deal, washed my hair way too rough (def loosened up some hair), was not open to using a product I brought with me, and was rude to her kids after they tried to explain to her what I was talking about (I’m pretty sure she was pretending not to understand what I meant when I said «single braids.»)
The maintence didn’t hold. idk why but it didn’t.
By the way, she had wide open availability and said the holiday season was slow… yeah, I’m not surprised! NEVER AGAIN and no tip for you.

They went out their way to make me comfortable. It was my first trip. High End salon in a safe location just minutes from Jack London Square. Angie and Charlotte both natural stylist share over 30 years of experience and it shows. They turned my broken locks into a work of art for a reasonable price for what I got done. Im pleased to recommend them to all of my natural hair wearing friends as well to the Unilocal community.
