Living here for 2 years now, DEFINITELY resigning the lease. My wife and I LOVE the lofts, neighbours, Catalina(Manager) and Ron(Maintenance Manager) are fantastic people. Living on top of a foodmax makes grocery trips super easy and convenient. Right in the middle of 880 and 580 so you can check the traffic and take the less jammed up route. Love it! At this rate, we won’t move out until we buy a house. We just love it here that much, you would too. Only 4 stars because: — second floor doesn’t have washer or dryers in units, only 3rd floor does. — no elevator on foodmax side of building so you will have to still drive around the building. — Units do not have air condition, so it gets SUPER hot during summer I’d still buy my unit if they’d sell it to me. Let’s just say that I broke my least to get into this place. Everything here is excellent, the look, the people, the atmosphere, and the management. 5 stars across the board!

My spouse and I were looking for a place around July of 2014. We looked and looked and looked and my spouse came across this place as a reccomendation from her co-worker. She went and talked to the manager, Catalina who my wife said was very professional, informative and honest, said we would have to be put on a waiting list and that there were 20 – 30 something people ahead of us. She said that she does move down the list pretty quick because once she calls, you have 24 hours to respond before she moves on to the next person on the waiting list. We were both super disappointed and usually with all of the other apartment complexes we have gone to always say they will call you back, but never do. Dissappointed we ended up moving to another apartment complex with ½ the square footage and double the price. About 3 months into our lease — to our suprise Catalina called. We were both so excited, and went down to take a look at what she had available. As my first time meeting her in person I thought she was very professional and honest as well. She took us to every single loft she had available even if it wasn’t in our price range, just to show us in case we moved in and wanted to upgrade in the future. We placed a holding deposit for a medium size unit, got our paper work together and submitted an application and withinin a few days she emailed us that we were approved and we set up a date and time to sign the lease, do a walk through and congradulate us. This is the first place that I have lived and actually felt like home. Im in love with the location, the atomosphere. My neighbors are awesome, the security is awesome(and 24 hours!). I’ve lived in many overpriced, undersized places and delt with a ton of incompetent staff member of property management companies and I must say, this is NOT one of those places. Catalina has made herself very available and has addressed any and all concerns, and every possible detail we could have possibly thought of. I think any negative reviews that you might have heard must have been from past staff and from people that don’t like the loft life — as it is different than your average apartment life. Honest staff, great location, great neighbors, and overall a great experience from the beginning.

I lived at the Durant Lofts for 18 months and I enjoyed my stay there. They have three different floor plans, and the largest units have washer/dryers inside the units. All the appliances are upgraded and the kitchen and bathrooms have granite counter tops. They have great patios and the units are all really well maintained. Although the lofts are located on a busy street I never really was bothered by noise. You will occasionally hear police sirens or fire trucks but for the most part the place is quiet. It is located in a great location close to bart, 880/580, and shopping. The only thing I didn’t like was the price of the unit, they range from $ 1,000−1,395 and this is the reason I moved. But if you can afford the rent its a great place to live. The property manager can be annoying at times, but there is always the ignore button when she calls!
