Ghetto is not even the word to describe this place. If you have a choice, please do not rent there. If you or your family want to turn into roast pig(s), then rent this place. Where do I start? Expensive rent, rude and loud neighbors, noisy kids, super loud train. $ 1400 rent in San Leandro is crazy. Neighbors love to yell at 2 in the morning. Neighbors love to smoke around your unit and sit on the stairway. Neighbors love to BBQ in the patio or around the complex when they are not allowed to. What makes it worse is they would BBQ at 1 am, yes 1 in the morning. Imagine if there’s a fire, everyone would turn into roast pig. The whole apartment is made out of WOOD! Neighbors love to throw garbage and pour water out their patio(sucks for you if you live downstairs). Neighborhood kids love to play basketball and baseball around your cars. Neighborhood kids love to ride their skateboards in the middle of the night. Neighbors love to chit chat and laugh super loud out in the patio at 2 am, yes, in the morning. Neighbors love to play loud ghetto music, again, in the middle of the night. Neighbors’ friends love to park in your«assigned» parking. When you report it to the Bay Area Patrol, they do NOTHING. Management is useless in every aspects. It’s a waste of time to even contact them with issues. Lastly, the super loud train. It runs days and nights. You can feel your apartment shakes when it runs through. Now, do you still want to live there?

DONOTRENTFROMTHESEPEOPLE!!! I have never dealt with a more shady bunch of people in my life. Living there was horrendous because the walls are paper thin and the people are RUDE. The resident manager is indescribable. While the staff seemed to be pretty cool, I later found out that they were just as bad, if not worse than, the manager. I was in the process of purchasing a house and on three separate occasions something came up as I was scheduled to vacate the apartment in which I was residing. I thought that working with the rental office staff would be helpful – trying to get extensions as needed. At NO time during this process, when I had face-to-face contact with these people, was I ever informed that I would have to pay late fees. All three of the staff members that I dealt with stated that they understood my situation – it was a special case. After moving out on a Sunday, I hand delivered the keys to them on Monday. At NO time did anyone in the rental office state that I owed late fees for the previous month. When I finally received my security deposit refund a 37 days later not 21-days later as required by law, they had taken out money for late fees and painting that was not required.(They painted the place before I moved in and I was only there 8 months – nothing had ever been posted on the walls as I knew this was only a temporary place). When I called to speak with someone regarding this, NO one answered. DONOTRENTFROMTHESEPEOPLE – unless you enjoy having your money stolen!!!
