The place is under new management as of last week, so not sure how it was before, but definitely worth a cheap lunch or dinner now. The portions are pretty huge. My 4 piece fried chicken came with lots of fries and a couple pieces of bread. The chicken was crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside. Definitely better than the Colonel or the Sailor. And it’s halal to boot! The only complaint, and it’s a minor one, is that they could have drained the oil a bit more. But I’m not gonna hold it against them. The menu includes po’ boys/hoagies, and fried seafood as well. No complaints in terms of service either. They definitely made me feel at home, and we very friendly, courteous and efficient. I’ll definitely be hitting them up for my occasional cheapo fried chicken cravings.

dimond kitchen is located next to radio shack. looks like made to order fast food joint, selling breakfasts, philly cheesestaks(4.99) po boys(4.75) platters(5.99) slices of cake(1.99) many tables for sitdown. spartan cafeteria setting. got the philly cheese with sirloin(4.99)-lots of sliced skin on spuds came with the meal. the philly cheese had onions, musrooms, & cheese with it. not enough cheese though. the philly is peppery tasty and didn’t taste right. leftovers –only one guy did the cashiering and the cooking –friendly, efficient service. –may try the po boy next. wouldn’t ex[ect much though.
