Came in at 7am. Tried to order a whopper. They told me 45 minute wait. It’s not ready yet! It should be ready u advertise burgers for breakfast. I said no I’ll pass. My friend on the other had asked if the original chicken sandwich are available. The lady behind the counter asked the person in back. They were, so he gets his sandwich after a few bites he told me it taste weird. Well apon closer evaluation it was soaked in grease literally saturated. The cook shoulda let it drip out before placing it on the bun. Now being from Santa Clara, that would never happen in my area. Besides the lady was rude as hell. I know this is Oakland but you need to learn how to be more nicer to the customer. Oh one more thing. They charge u for dipping sauce here.

Rudest employees ever. If you’re kind to them they’ll still yell at you, if you ask them for anything they literally scream. Went to drive thru on a Sunday night with friends and was craving really quick food. I asked if they can put three separate transaction and the girl said we couldn’t because too many cards but i asked her that we had cash instead of cards so would it be possible to still have three separate bills. The other guy working yelled and in the most obnoxious loud«ghetto» voice and said«OHYEAHWEACCEPTCASH, we accept all kinds of cash» I was taken back but brushed it off because I understand that it’s tiring to work in the fast food industry. I then told her I would just pay in one. And when I placed my last order he then again yelled into the mic(I forgot what he had said) the girl told him to stop. I paid for my food, said thank you and left. The girl employee was very sweet. Thank you for not being rude or contributing to him. The guy employee was immature. If you don’t like your job I suggest you quit.

Always good prep and really use the right portions of lettuce onion tomato etc on their burgers!!! Only complaint … They never wipe down the tables ! I use two or three napkins every time just to get the sticky stuff off! No excuse just lazy, floors at «maybe swept mopped once every 2 – 3 days ! In general the workers are very friendly

This isn’t the greatest of locations, but it definitely beats both the international and the Broadway locations in terms of acceptable dining establishments. Just like any place you go, there are always pros and cons. PROS: cheap food, clean lobby, minimal crackheads/CONS: rude staff members(occasionally), slow output time, incomplete orders. Other than the above mentioned issues, this place is alright, so long as you keep in mind that this is a fast food establishment and not a real restaurant. Anytime you go to a chain eatery where employees get paid S*** wages; you will not have a 5 star experience.

As a QSR shareholder Im appalled that this location is still open. The location needs to be restaffed or closed permanently! The drive thru attendants always get my order wrong and they never apologize. The staff is completely unprofessional and none of them value their job. I’ve gone here dozens of times and the food regularly makes me sick, talk about brand loyalty! Instead of recounting the numerous terrible experiences Ive had here Ill just urge corporate to send someone out and FIREEVERYONE! This location stands out like a sore thumb among all bay area locations. There is a clear lack of management skills, zero chain of command and a whole group of stoned idiots running the place. Given how competitive the job market is there is no excuse for any of this! Lastly the lack of clean floors and overflowing trash cans speak for themselves!

Gee, can’t believe all the bad experiences people say they’ve had at this location. I’ve been coming here for longer than I can even remember and none of these things have happened to me. I actually like this location better than others. I always use the drive-thru and don’t venture inside, so I don’t know what goes on in there. I usually go between early evening and late night and the food is never dried out or cold, and the service has always been super and polite. I don’t order anything too complicated, just a Whopper Jr. w/cheese and fries, my fave, so it’s hard to screw that up. Fries are always hot and flame-broiled burgers juicy. I LOVE dem fries! I make it a point to check my order before I drive off. it’s A-Okay and I’m on my way! One happy camper! Burger King is my friend. I’ll be sure to let y’all know if that ever changes.

Just be sure to double-check all your foods. I ordered almost 10 double stacks last time. Guess what? When I got home, they were only singles! They charged us about ten extra dollars for this?! Another time, I was charged some dollars and cents. I didn’t want all the change, so I gave them the coins so I would only get bills back? You know what happened? She kept it. LMAO. Whatever, keep those dimes and nickels. That’s about it, so yeah, always check your stuff and don’t be afraid to speak up to them.

Well, every once in a while i have to try some, ‘eh whatever’ kind of food. Calibrates my pallet or something haha. Definitely expected the final result. I mean its a ginormous incorporated mass produced food dealer, so i kinda knew what i was getting into prior to my meal. Disappointing? um, not like you’d think. I had it DELIVERED! pretty awesome addition. $ 2 delivery charge + whatever tip you think the driver deserves. 15-something for 2 sandwiches and fries; 20 with tip. I tipped too much, I didn’t get any napkins or ketchup. On top of that, the burgers were a little too saucy. I had half a fish sandwich and half a regular whopper + fries(roomie had the other halves). Expensive considering the quality of ingredients and time required to make, but that’s the norm for these monstrous fast food corps right? Anyway, ill probably be back someday looking for that 1st bite, like an addict looking for his fix. :) Dos estrellas. PS: pros = you get to eat it in the comfort of your own home without having to go out. Beverage paring; Anchor Steam Big Leaf Maple. Probably should have gone with something lighter, but its whats in season and the beer was selected prior to the BK decision.

Want stomach pains? Eat here. Want to take your chance on vomiting? Eat here. Want a fever and diarrhea? Definitely eat here. My brother and I had food from this BK a few days ago and got sick off of it. Me a few hours after, he, the very next day. Avoid this place at all cost unless you really want all the above symptoms. Needless to say, this complaint is being sent to the CDPH.

I like coming to this location vs. the Broadway location. They have restroom access and free, but very slow wi-fi. Lobby hours 6AM-9PM, drive-thru is open till midnight. They even offer delivery service. State of the art cold drink dispenser offers a multitude of flavors.

Very unprofessional. Food cold. Took an hour for a hamburger and fries. Delivery person didn’t have a pen for me to sign the credit slip. Had to ask for a copy of receipt.

They should just shut this one down. I think the only reason people eat here is because they’re desperate for flame-broiled eats, and there is not another Burger King for miles away. Being one of these desperate people, I have frequented this BK for fast food to shove in my face before taking long drives on the freeway. I’ve always noticed that their drive-thru service is on the slooooooow side, but recently I discovered why by actually going inside to eat. First thing through the door, a homeless person asks me to buy her a cup of coffee from ACROSSTHEROOM. After pitifully declining then ordering my food, I witness the BK employees strategize and execute the removal of an inebriated prostitute from the bathroom, who apparently locked herself in there for the past hour. After getting my food, I was just watching and eating my double cheeseburgers as this was actually unfolding right in front of me. Dinner and a sad, sad show. The employees forcibly removed her from the bathroom and when she came out, she was soaking wet from head to toe for some reason. She was literally leaving a trail of water(or some other liquid) and raised her eyebrows at me as she was stumbling out of the building. Being a block away from Oakland’s Red Light District, I’m sure this is not an unusual occurrence. That was the second, and final straw, and I then knew I had to get out of there to prevent any permanent mental scarring. But the sleaze seemed to manifest itself again as I was leaving. Another prostitute walked in and asked, in the surliest, most battle-axed of voices, «Y’all have a dollar menu in here? What can I get for 3 dollars?» I didn’t want to know what she did to get those 3 dollars. Unfortunately, she then turned to me and offered exactly what I would assume was worth 3 dollars. So…don’t eat inside, and prepare to wait if you’re in the drive-thru. Also, please don’t be mean to the employees for the slow drive-thru time because in addition to fully staffing a somewhat functioning Burger King, they are also on full time hobo/prostitute patrol. They would improve their business drastically by investing in better security.

I really hope I can get through this post without giving ANY stars. If you’re the kind of person who love getting the wrong order or have your food forgotten, this is the place for you. As much as I want to sit here and give a life long testimony as to how HORRIBLE the people and service is here, I’m not gonna waste my time because I think I’ve wasted enough of it with this place. They ALWAYS fail!!! I’m surprised this place hasn’t shut down by now. Worst Burger King… I mean… worst fast food location EVER!!! Get your s*** together!!!

This place has no drive thru menu before you get to the actual ordering panel, so by the time you get there and have just begun to look at the menu, you’re already getting harassed by the staff for your order. After the order is placed, expect to wait… and wait… and wait… and wait… How long does it take to make a burger? I mean seriously… this place is glacially slow. Expect to be sitting in the drive thru listening to a fellow drive thru customer bumping their shitty license plate rattling rap music for upwards of at least 20 minutes. Also, getting hit on by the complete sleaze of a tranny employee here(while I have nothing against transsexuals or transgender folks whatsoever) was EXTREMELY unprofessional and off-putting.

I’ve never had a problem with Burger King growing up. When I was a foolish child, I would always crave the American fast food, rather than eating Asian food like the phở across the street. In fact, I recall one instance where my family went to go eat phở while I said that I wanted Burger King, so they let me eat at Burger King by myself while they were eating phở across the street. This location has given me a lot of memories since then. I remember this one time where I had finished ordering and was grabbing my food once they called my number up. Then these group of punk ass teenagers of a certain descent was yelling out, «AYWHYYOUSTOLEMYFOOD?» As I was a teenager myself and knowingly that they were just trying to punk me like the little bitches they are I respond with, «BECAUSE I’M SEXY» and they couldn’t respond back because they did not expect that from a supposedly timid Asian kid. This Burger King is wonderful, and I even remember staying here for many hours working on my geometry tessellational/rotational symmetry project here. Fast forward many years later when I go to college. I went to college down south and the BK on our campus was crap.(I’ll save that for another review) So I began to hate BK. But you know what? Perhaps this one is going to be okay! Because this one is in my hometown, not at school! I bought lunch here the other day because McDonalds was closed for the day for renovations. As I took a bite of the burger, I involuntarily started choking because ITWASTHATBAD. Oh my gosh, this is not the burger I remember. Am I growing up? Because Burger King is one of those places where I don’t wanna go anymore. If those punk ass teens try to ask me «AYWHYYOUSTOLEMYFOOD?» Just take it. I hope you choke from it, too.

I ordered the standard whopper with cheese, fries, and a coke. The fries were putrid… absolutely disgusting! The patty was dry, but I guess that’s to be expected. It was dripping with too much mayo. Plus they always put too much ice in the cup, not enough drink. Overall, I don’t think I’ll be eating at anther burger king willingly. Only if I’m desperate and it’s the only place open.

Not bad, not good. I came in here with my boo because we got a bunch of those buy 1 get 1 free coupons in the mail to try out their new Steakhouse XT burger. BK’s competing with McD’s Angus burgers. I figure, why not treat my boo to a nice steakhouse burger dinner? I love treating her all the time randomly, especially since every moment with her is a special one. We decided to go here since it’s walking distance from our apt at the uptown. Our other choice was the BK in Emeryville, but that would require using fossil fuels. This BK is right next to the bart in downtown/city center Oakland. I ordered 2 Steakhouse XT burgers: the Bacon Cheddar and A1 Steak sauce. My boo was so generous, she picked up the tab. I guess it’s cool though, because I provided the coupon. So we went dutch on this early dinner. We took the burgers to go, it came out really fast, so I guess maybe that’s a tradeoff for freshness and quality. When we got home, the burgers were alright. Nothing really good about the burger. I’d be ashamed to call this a steakhouse burger. Not sure which steakhouse would serve these, but the burger is just a delivery system for salt, fat, carbs and condiments. The bun was soggy. The whole thing was really flavorless, and it tasted just like the condiments. I think the burger is just a larger version of a fast food burger. Nothing gourmet about this. But in case you’re wondering, which burger is better? We both preferred the A1 burger because the fried onions were kinda crispy and provided a different mouth feel vs the gobs of fat loaded in the bacon cheddar burger. I actually have to give props to the Giant Burger down the street. They actually serve a fresh burger that tastes way better than BK.
