Do you want an amazing banking experience? Go see Alejandro! He is the most pleasant and smile inducing person I have ever met. I came into cash my check and was expecting the same old boring banking transaction but that did not happen. What happened changed my views on banking. Alejandro is sparkling example of what customer should be. Thank you!

Terrible smh so I went in to open an account because it was literally blocks from my job but when I went in nawrenee seemed as if she didn’t want my service because I asked about cashing my check and referred me to wells Fargo or bank of America even after I told her I needed a bank that was near me she said «well bank of America is a few blocks away» lol way to go lady!!!

This place is cool I guess, they got me a bank account pretty quick and pain free. Except for the bank manager, Yolanda, constantly misgendered me even after I had corrected her. I’m transgender and passing but she was referring to me based on my ID name which gets changed next month and had made them aware of that fact. So she’s kind of mad disrespectful, but the person who actually handled me was awesome. Two stars for transphobic manager.

Convenient location in the Fruitvale plaza, albeit not the safest neighborhood to be around; this Bank of the West is filled with smiles and very helpful staff.
I come here to do all my deposits and any banking needs that I have. Stephanie, Koi and Alejandro are attentive at what they do and have always taken care of me here.
This location is rarely busy so if you don’t like to wait in line at the bank — I recommend coming here.
