Small but packed with stuff, have only had good experiences here after 20+ trips here for birthday and other presents.

I just walked out of the store with two children(well behaved, age 10 and seven) who were about to be spoiled with a bunch of presents because they have been in the hospital all day. However, the two proprietors of the store made a point to glare at all three of us. I gave them that feedback and let them know that we will not be returning to their store, what kind of a person owns a toy store and glares at children?

Really great selection in a tiny store. Everything you need.

I go in here when I have to. The saleslady is usually glued to the iphone and you have to interrupt her to ask a question or look at something in the store hung high. They ring you up, take your money and go back to the iphone for more texting. No thank you just take the money. They need to hire some friendly people. The product is ok with nothing special. The usual toys. Smile and say hello to your customers. That goes a LONGWAY. Come on now.

This toy store has lots of toys but not the best pricing and return policy is horrible. You can only get store credit and they give you a hard time when you want to return something. If you exchange something for even 50 cents less than the store credit, they make you buy something a lot more since they don’t have anything for 50 cents in the store. They are not flexible and service is not great. I would rather buy from Amazon.

This is my new go to place to buy birthday gifts for children. They have your standard Melissa and Doug puzzles, stickers, temporary tattoos– pretty much everything you need for newborns to tweens.

We purchased a B. Parum Pum Pum for $ 50. However later we found it in Target for $ 20. Love to support small business but $ 30 overprice?

this used to be one of the most miserable toy stores in North America. Grim and dimly lit, wacked out old toys, and crappy service. In the past year everything has changed. Fun inviting windows, no clutter, fresh fun toys and terrific service. Chris who seems to be there most days we stroll by is super helpful and a delightful presence. It’s given me another good reason to shop locally.

I’ve gotten good customer service from the girl who works here. She helped me find some age appropriate toys. I’m usually happy to find that they have more than a few gender neutral toys to pick from.

I don’t have children. Since I have a hard enough time shopping for myself, imagine my how difficult it is to shop for little humans that I don’t see that often. This is a small shop with a wonderful edited collection of mostly learning-type or imagination-stimulating toys and gifts. Since my Christmas gift for this particular child didn’t seem to over all that well(«A book?!») I figured this place ought to have something the birthday child liked. In less than five minutes, I picked out a nice box of blocks that probably would have gone for a bit cheaper at a big-box retailer. I figured it was worth it since their narrow and excellent selection saved me tons of time AND I was able to get it gift-wrapped for free.

Excellent inventory of learning toys, especially wooden products. We always buy b-day gifts here. My toddler and baby also enjoy items I’ve purchased for them. It’s ranged from books, to learning games to even bubbles blowers. Staff is friendly and helpful. Clearly run by a family so I’m happy to support this local merchant.

Great little independent toy store. I found several inexpensive, creative games for my granddaughters. Love to support my local stores. I will come again. Amy at front desk was very friendly and asked me if I wanted them gift wrapped for free. Good source for my under 5 grandkids. I’ll look around some more next time

Just another toy store. Nothing stood out for me. Its yet another toy store that sells Melissa & Doug, which I am sick of seeing all over the place. Staff wasn’t rude, but not memorable either. The best part about this place is the location.

I’ve been in this store three times in the last couple days… hoping, desperately hoping that the teenager behind the counter would not be there. The first time I came in I found a wonderful little gift for my friend’s daughter… I’ve come in before and had my gifts nicely wrapped with a gift receipt. This time however, said teenager growls that he doesn’t do wrapping and that they do not give gift receipts. Hmmm. This IS a gift shop, right? So I say, ‘do you not give them, or do you not know HOW to make them?’ Turns out he doesn’t know how to do them. Well, without these two services, I promptly want my money back. Guess what? He doesn’t know how to do this either! So I tell him he should probably call the owner of the store(which turns out to be his Mom, by the way) so that either she can tell him how to give a gift receipt, OR return my money. She is able to walk him through returning our money since she could not successfully walk him through printing out a gift receipt. I come back in the next day, bringing with me another potential customer, hoping he wasn’t there, but alas, he was. And he STILL didn’t know how to print out gift receipts. The best he could do was offer to out the full amount of my gift on their business card in case my friend wanted to return the gift. Um… doesn’t this defeat the purpose of a gift receipt? I don’t want to tell my friend how much I spent. Tacky. Called back today and the son is still there manning the store alone. He couldn’t be more than 15 or 16 and really, really, REALLY doesn’t want to be there. This must be how his Mom wants him to spend spring break. Too bad she lost a few great customers who will never be back.

I have really wanted to support this store, but they’ve made it virtually impossible. I returned something for a store credit, but when my husband went to use the credit for something that was less than the value of the credit, they wouldn’t give him a new credit for the difference. So he didn’t use the credit at all and paid cash for the new purchase, and I’m still stuck with this credit for a store that I now hate shopping at. I keep thinking that they will go out of business with such bad customer service, but it’s a great place in the neighborhood for last-minute kid birthday gifts.

Maybe they saw the bad review and took it to heart? Last time I was in they were nice and offered to order the item that I wanted on my next order if they didn’t have it in stock(Plan Toys fruit & veggies, I didn’t want the Melissa & Doug one). They told me it wouldn’t be right away, but at least they offered it! And it was a young girl working.
