I’ve come in multiple time right before a kids birthday in desperate need of a gift and the store owner has always found the perfect gift for me and wrapped it! Now that I have my own daughter my husband and I love coming in looking for cute outfits (she has a great used selection too) and toys. Such a great addition to piedmont ave!

Love this place! Sacha is so helpful and wonderfully nice. Anytime I have a baby shower or birthday party to attend, this is my first (and typically only) stop. The other day, Sacha let me know that this is now the only shop that carries Nooworks’ baby line. Their clothes are so unique and beautifully designed, I’m glad to know I can always find them here!

If you are a grand parent as I am you will love this store. It is full of irresistible cute clothes for babies and kids, as well as attractive intelligent toys and books. The store will celebrate its one year anniversary on Sunday August 23 for 1:00 to 5:00 pm.
The founder and owner is a Piedmont high school graduate, class of 1991.

I love Valentine’s. Sacha, the owner, is so sweet and very knowledgeable about developmental stages and ages for kiddos. Its a beautiful store with a great selection of new interesting toys and clothes plus an awesome second-​hand section. Check it out!

Wonderful shop for baby showers and quality used items through 5T. The owner is kind and can help you find what you’re looking for. Though it may look small at first there are a lot of gems hidden in there including screen print onesies made by the owner and trendy stuffed animals. I’ve bought presents for others children, clothes for my own kids, toys, and food trays here, all treasured in our home. They receive used clothes for trade as well and donate the rest to charity.

A wonderful store for baby gifts. The selection is well-​curated and pretty extensive, considering the shop’s tiny size, and the owner is lovely — so helpful and kind. They have new and used clothing, toys, accessories, art, games and even some basic baby/​kid items. Definitely worth checking out.

I really love this store and the owner. Somehow there are always great used clothes on the racks — it almost feels like you are the only one who shops there though that is far from the truth. They also buy gently used baby/​toddler/​kinds clothes from customers. Such a helpful addition to the neighborhood. And such a breath of fresh air to have such friendly, welcoming staff.

Such a cute little shop! If you have kids or know someone who does, this is a friendly face in the adorable world of kids items. They even have locally made and organic pieces. Also a great location just away from the hubub and very challenging parking of the busy part of the avenue.

Sunday morning right before I’m visiting my fertility acupuncturist and her new born baby, I needed to pick up some nice gifts for them. I owe my two beautiful children to my acupuncturist and so I can’t just go to any store. I’m so glad I found Valentine’s Baby and Kids! The owner works there and is a very genuine person. She helped me find what I needed without being pushy, solicitous and condescending. The products the store carries are unique and adorable! I am coming back to get more for my own kids next time. There is also a second hand section that DON’T smell funny and look like new. There is also a small area for kids to play or read. Very tasteful shop. I will come back!

I was on my way home after dropping my car off at the shop and getting some coffee, when I noticed Valentine’s was on the way. I’ve been meaning to stop by so this was the perfect time to do so. Sacha, the owner, was there and she’s such a sweetheart. There’s a lot of great items here for babies and kids that I felt a little jealous. Definitely consider coming here when in need of a gift and what not. You’re bound to leave with something.

I went into this store to buy just one item as a gift for my best friend’s new born but ended up buying all of my holiday gifts for my friends’ children! There was so many adorable items and I appreciate that many of the them are made locally and some are even organic. The person working was super helpful and sweet and gave me some advice when I was indecisive on which items to buy. Can’t wait to go spoil my friends’ kids more when I come back here next.
This place has only been open a couple months and I hope people will continue to support this wonderful local business and avoid the big commercial places like Toys R Us.

What a great store with local bay area designers! The owner could not be more helpful. Note — the store hours posted on Unilocal are not correct as the store is open on Tuesdays and per the store’s website — Valentine’s will be open 7 days a week from 10am-​6pm from Nov. 28th through Dec. 25th. I can’t wait to do some holiday shopping here for my extend family little ones.

This place is GREAT — a very welcome addition to Piedmont Avenue.
The owner has fabulous taste and has curated quite a collection of baby & kids stuff. The second hand clothes are all in great shape, well priced, and super hip; plus, there’s room to look with racks that aren’t over-​crowded with junk. The toys and accessories are irresistible.
I love stopping in this shop to see what’s new, pick up a gift (or two), and let my daughter play in the back.

What a wonderful find! My baby, dog, and I take frequent walks down Piedmont Ave and we were pleasantly surprised to see a new kid’s clothes store open up. The shop is really cute, with a good selection of secondhand and new clothes for infants and toddlers. There’s also a little corner section for tykes to occupy themselves while adults can explore the racks. Genius. The shop keepers are very friendly and my kid really enjoyed herself while I got to pick up a few clothing essentials for just a few bucks. Win-​win for everyone! I really hope the shop is here to stay; it’s a great addition to the neighborhood.

Just found this spot near our house and it’s got the makings of a great place for baby and kids clothes. The style here is spot on with some local flair and unique pieces. They have a great selection of second hand clothes that are all very high quality.
We picked up some gifts for our friend’s shower and the owner was so nice. It just opened three weeks ago so we are looking forward to seeing it grow!
