Nino’s Unisex Haircutting

Go see Tricia! I’ve gotten a few up dos from her for events in the past year. Perfect every time, you can’t go wrong. Just got my haircut, looks great, feels great, and I love it!

I had my hair cut and styled here and I love the new look! I originally had my long hair cut really short at a different salon. But there was a language barrier and they didn’t give me exactly what I was looking for… Don’t get me wrong! I enjoyed the new short cut. but I really wanted more layers and a choppy or «choppier» look. While getting my nails done, I noticed Nino’s was right next door so I decided to walk in randomly and see what they could do to give me the look I wanted to achieve. And they did just that. I love it. Highly recommended salon. The stylists are down to earth, easy to talk to and she charged me close to nothing after I told her I had days prior gotten a cut I wasn’t totally happy with. Highly recommended and i will be going back to have this same haircut! Nothing but great things to say.

Great salon! I got the keratin treatment and it was excellent. my hair was so smooth and easy to blow dry and I’m not that great at blow drying my hair usually. I also got highlights which turned out exactly how I wanted. Trisha is the greatest and really tries to make her clients look their best. She is honest too which is usually hard to find in a stylist! Michelle is great as well, very helpful! Highly recommend Trisha and Michelle! My hair cut was great as well. I received many compliments!

You know the perfect hair you have always dreamed of? Stylish, expertly cut, glossy and looks like u walked off a Pantene ad? Trish makes that happen. You cannot go wrong with Trish. The woman is an artist. I used to visit only high priced snobby hair salons in NYC. U know the type, one person washes, another person colors, another person cuts and then maybe someone else styles. And $ 400 plus later u think crap! Did I forget to tip one of the five who worked on me? Ninos salon is nothing like that. It is an unpretentious and unassuming neighborhood salon. Trish herself will do your cut, color and style. She will not do anything that will look badly on you. She will tell u flat out if it will not work for you. She is amazing. AMAZING. All the stylists at this salon are very sweet and down to earth people. They are open early and late and Trish has even opened early for me for a special occasion. Who does that??? This is the kind of place where everyone knows you and you are treated like family. I will never let anyone else touch my hair. I was introduced to this gem by a friend who has been going here for a decade. Now I’m on my fourth year and my sisters and cousins all see Trish. There is none of that waiting around for hours. At first I was hesitant Bc I was used to glitzy modern salons with their fancy interiors. But once Trish worked her magic on me, I have never looked back. You cannot go wrong here! Oh FYI it is cash only but once you see how reasonably priced they are, you will not care that you can’t use your card!

Tricia is the best. She has been doing my hair and my 2 daughters in their 20’s for over 10 years. Over the years she’s done, color, cuts, and prom up-​dos.
I always leave happy.

I have been looking for a great hair salon in this part of Queens for over 2 years. I found some average places, where I left satisfied, that is after monitoring the stylists every move. Nino’s is definitely not the case. Today I went for my first time to get a blow out. I couldn’t believe how fast Trish worked! I got in her chair by 2:15 and at 2:35, I was at the cash register!!! She completely listened to what I wanted and stopped in between to ask me what else can be done. I left feeling so happy and content with my hair! Not to mention, I popped in the day before to inquire if I can get an appt for today and Tricia squeezed me in, with no wait time on a Saturday afternoon. Will definitely be back!
