Wienerschnitzel

Poor location. Poor food. Poor service. Overpricef. Go to the one in Modesto. Don’t bother with this one.

If you are a fan of Wienerschnitzel’s you will like this place. As far as they go this one is as good as any but I’m just not a fan. Way to expensive for hot dogs. Nice people working there as well. I just wish a different restaurant went in that spot instead of Wiener Schnitzel.

Bad location… there’s a reason the old KFC left this building. Glad to have the Schnitzel here, it just feels like a weird copy of the franchise– MacDowell’s anyone? Food is good, be wary of the up-​sale… that cheap 5 dog meal goes to $ 20 real quick, when they say beef dog for a dollar and cheese for a dollar, that’s a dollar each– you just spent another $ 10. I get it, the meal is cheap and looks good from the street. Polish dog is very good though.

I was so excited that this place was opening. So I went there and it wasn’t very clean inside. I ordered a mustard dog got home they didn’t put the mustard in. Not a hard order to get right.

You may have to park on the street.
This is an odd location, just off F Street, but there isn’t enough of a parking lot to support more than a very few cars. One of the employees said that they can’t have more than three cars in the drive-​thru line (until it spills onto the street?), which isn’t much.
One of the employees was very friendly and greeted me as soon as I entered. I tried the restroom, which could have used some work, and returned to the front counter.
The menu board was re-​arranged from what I would see at most of their locations. I just ended up with the number 6 combo – chili dog, corn dog, fries, and a soda. The prices seemed the same as other locations – a little expensive. Try buying a corn dog at Hot Dog on a Stick and you’ll see a big difference on price. She asked if I wanted to upgrade to an All-​Beef hot dog or Polish Sausage, and I got the All-​Beef hot dog but was confused, as I thought that all of their hot dogs were already beef only.
It took a while for the food. The chili dog was hot while the corn dog was not. The fries were just okay and not representative of how busy they were. I guess people weren’t ordering many fries.
They’ve only been open a few weeks but at this rate, I’m not sure they’ll be open a few months.

I went in with my family for lunch. Everything was clean for the most part and the food was as expected. After we ate i ordered 2 sundays which were the special for the day. The girl charged me full price and i caught on but didnt say anything. Went and sat down when the sundays were ready and had them with my family. 5 min later someone came out with a refund for the $ 2 and change and apologized. Blew my mind and prompted me to write this!

So a few of my friends have said they went to this place since it opened a few weeks ago. They’ve all said it is shitty over priced food. I’ve been to wienerchnitzels in the past and I’ve always been happy, so I gave this one a chance. We went and got their new bacon ranch chili cheese fries and a order or regular cheese fries. I was a little shocked when they rang me up and said it was a few cents under $ 8.00 but whatever I figured it’d be worth the price. We got our food and left. Upon opening our boxes of fries, my bacon ranch fries were tiny and a mess for a $ 5 box of fries. And her cheese fries were even smaller and microwaved French fries topped with a cheaper version of American cheese slices and swimming in oil. We were not impressed and now both have stomach aches. We will not be returning to this location. I’d rather make the drive to Modesto.

Place is Awesome!!! I love all the different chili cheese fries!!! We are so excited to have you in our town.
