Stopped here on our way back from hiking near Knights Ferry with our dog. Picked up some delicious cheese, salami and almonds and had a little picnic by the koi pond and petting zoo. Lots of specialty jams, mustards, sauces as well. Great place to stop with your pooch as they have a separate grassy pet area. Definitely dog-friendly and VERY people friendly! We’ll be back!

All kinds of Gouda! Seriously though; stop here and try some samples. It’s all really tasty and we walked about with cheese curds(the squeaky kind) and a wedge of the black pepper mix. Totally worth it! We also wanted a snack and got a small bowl of tomato soup and a grilled cheese. They were really tasty, but not great for sharing as the portions ended up being much smaller than anticipated for two people.

Great place to buy the world best cheese of anything. Number one in our book. Love the variety of cheese, honey, sausage, crackers and wine.

Cheese is to die for, get the grilled gouda cheese sandwich and feed the friendly goats, sheep and lama with your children, you cant ask for a better outing. The grounds are amazing with a koi pond and picnic benches. We love this place!!!

Great for an afternoon outing with the family or a quick stop to pick up deli items for unexpected guests. The petting zoo keeps the kids entertained while everyone else enjoys the shaded picnic spots. The Gouda is really as good as the sign claims. The Gouda grilled cheese sandwich is an absolute splurge, but worth it.

Lovely little boutique. Great outdoor space with benched and umbrellas. The cheese shop has a large variety of cheese and gifts. They also have samples to help you make an informed decision :) There are lamas and a few other animals fenced at the end of the lot, a nice view to look at while eating. The grilled cheese on sliced sourdough was good but not the best I have had; However, given the atmosphere and overall cleanliness I give it a 4 star.

I’m so glad that we stopped here on the way back from Yosemite! I was getting a bit tired after driving a couple hours in holiday traffic, and came upon this wonderful place where I fed goats and a llama, and had one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches ever. I also got to use their clean bathrooms and sampled some absolutely delicious gouda. The farm animals are in the back, and there’s a feeding dispenser where you can buy a handful of animal food for 25 cents. At first, the goats mostly ignored me when I approached them, but I really got their attention as soon as I walked towards the food dispenser. Excited and eager are definitely understating just how happy they seemed when they realized that I was going to feed them. The grilled cheese sandwich didn’t look like much — it was pretty small and was on sliced sourdough bread, but WOW, it really hit the spot and was made perfectly. I will definitely stop here again the next time I visit Yosemite. Highly recommended!

If you have kids and you’re driving to Yosemite, STOPHERENOW! There’s a koi pond and goat/llama pen. You can use quarters to get food to feed them beneath the giant weeping willows. And if you don’t have kids, STOPHEREANYWAY! Aside from said fish and llama, they have delicious cheeses as well as other treats. We bought a wedge of aged gouda and some salami for our hike which turned out to be a great snack along the trail. They also have ice cream and candy for the kids.

We were passing through Oakdale on our way to Yosemite and saw a huge sign about their award winning GOUDA cheese. Actually had to do a U-Turn to get back to the place and glad we did. We had the grilled gouda cheese and grilled ham and gouda sandwiches on sourdough bread for $ 3.99. They were yummy as advertised. We ate them on a nice park bench outside by a koi pond with several beautiful and giant fish, and a pen of goats and a llama nearby. Nice setting. As a bonus, we were able to get a bottle(glass no less) of Cheerwine, which we don’t often see outside North Carolina and certainly not west of the Mississippi. Inside the shop you could buy all sizes and flavors of gouda, and could look in to their cheese making and aging facility. Pretty cool. Nice place to stop on your travels through that part of the world.
