I live near Quigley’s and frequent it pretty regularly. They have a nice beer selection and for the most part the food is really good. The Ruben rolls and roast beef sandwich are my favorite. The fish and chips and shepherd’s pie and ok, but nothing special.

Great beer don’t bother with the food small portions most the wings are good thou. This is the nicer of the bars in the area and a nice pub. That is what it truly is a pub. Seat yourself place the people are nice. Though north sisters might find it odd but it’s a good place to relax and enjoy some drinks with friends

I live down the street from Quigleys and used to love coming here. Ownership has changed a couple times as it’s just going downhill. Food is still decent but the service is downright terrible. Waited 30 minutes before a server came up to ask if I wanted a drink or food. The«bouncer’s» back was to me when I entered Quigleys and I walked I to the patio, he then chase me down to check my ID. If you get paid to work the door, then work the door; don’t sit on your butt and watch the game. Also, a smoke break ever 15 minutes is not only unhealthy, it’s just inappropriate to do in front of patrons sitting in the patio. I that end, the servers also took a smoke break in front of patrons as well and then put their butts out on the ground instead of the cigarette butt can. I am giving a 1 star just for the food and the beer choices being pretty decent. Service is something to be desired.

We recently did a charity patio party at Quigley’s for As Good As Gold Golden Retriever rescue. The owner generously donated a portion of sales during 12 – 3 to our organization. The dog-friendly patio was AWESOME, the waiter(Alex? Adam? I forgot and apologize!) was TOPNOTCH — on top of the orders all afternoon. As a resident of OL, I am always happy to support a local business and how nice they support back. Cheers to Quigley’s!!!

Good place with good pub food, the wait staff is excellent, the drinks are reasonable. the only thing I did not like was over hearing the management bad mouthing the wait staff and I don’t know why, they are all attentive well trained young ladies. It must be a personal issue but how unprofessional for management to be doing that within ear shot of a customer.

We visited here for a surprise party for a friend — we had dinner beforehand, then joined the party, so we had an array of experiences. Since we live nowhere near here, we likely wouldn’t return on that premise anyways. Living over an hour away, we found it incredibly hard to find. Not in the sense that directions were bad, but there was no sign that we could see in the dark. We circled the parking lot behind the gas station before we realized we were looking at a bar. When we walked in at 6:15pm on a Saturday night it was near-empty. Weather was bad, so this wasn’t surprising. Our server was quick to help and very nice. We ordered quickly so we weren’t late to the party, and fast service was definitely returned. As it turned out, we had the same server for our party so it all worked out. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich with cole slaw. Perfect amount of chicken(not horribly crispy but definitely fried) and they had pan fried the wrap so it had a bit of a crisp to it. Yum. The serving of cole slaw was a large amount but was a good relief between my buffalo wrap and spicy bloody mary. Hubby ordered the reuben — said it was pretty average. Overall, food was typical of what you’d find at a bar. Good portions and greasy deliciousness, but nothing you couldn’t fine elsewhere. The drink prices were all over the place. $ 7 for a Grey Goose drink and $ 6 for Captain Morgan, $ 7.50 for ONE shot of Jameson? Odd. After we were there a few hours, the bar definitely got packed and the atmosphere was fun. Would be a fun place to frequent if we lived anywhere around here, but definitely wouldn’t go out of our way to come back.

First, this is a place I would never go to, a friend suggested this place and every reason why I would not patronize a place like this surfaced on our visit(12/20/2013). The waitress/hostess, short, long blonde haired woman completely ignored my friend upon arrival and was just plain nasty. The food sucked, it’s your typical frozen bar food from Sysco/GFS. The waitress we did have was nice, but mediocre. They seem to have a nice selection of beer, so I am assuming that makes up for the lackluster service, food, and ambiance. I’m not opposed to dive bars at all, but this is a hole in the wall reserved for a special breed. I am still upset with my friend for even suggesting a place as such! If I could give it a half of a star I would.

This is a cool local bar. What’s not to love? Cheap drinks, I ordered 2 buckets of beers and it was like $ 15 or maybe even $ 12…it’s all a little fuzzy now, but regardless that is pretty darn reasonable in my fuzzy mind! Large outdoor patio to enjoy a nice Chicago night. You over look a parking lot, so order another bucket of beer… Duh! Live music The bartenders were fantastic! Plenty of TV’s to catch a game too!

Nice place all around but the food is awful. Especially the corned beef. It’s an Irish bar.

Quigley’s is just okay. It is a pretty nice bar with a good amount of seating and an outdoor patio that is probably enjoyable in the summer. They have a decent selection of beers, though the bartender could use a little help. My boyfriend ordered a Black and Tan(Guiness mixed with Bass or Harp). Unfortunately, instead of being half and half, it was mostly Harp or Bass and just a smidge of Guiness. The prices are a little high, so we only had one beer. There are a few TVs to watch some games which is something to do, since I don’t think there was any music playing. I’ve been here a couple other times and it’s always just been meh. I think there are better options down Western Ave. and on 95th.

Big fan of Quigleys. They have a big outdoor beer garden, plenty of room inside, awesome trivia on Tuesdays, and wonderful drink specials. Their beer selection is by far the most extensive collection in the area! If you’re looking for a craft beer-this is definitely the place to go.

I love tihs place. It’s close to my home, cheap brews, good food and a trivia night that keeps me coming back. Service can be kind of slow(hence 4 stars), but if you can sit in Mary’s section she will make sure to take good care of you throughout the night. If you are a regular, sign up for their rewards program. I probably get a gift certificate from the rewards program each month!

I had my husbands 40th birthday party here, so great. Nice space right by bathrooms and outdoor patio, easy access for the smokers. Food was terrific, and they even had a new pack of birthday candles for the cake, which I totally forgot about. Thanks for making it a terrific party, everyone had a great time and it was very reasonable. Great selection of beers too!

a good bar with a nice outdoor area, great for those warm days/nights. i’ve hung out here a couple times with some classmates, and i didn’t find anything horrible about the place. the fish and chips i ordered were very good and my bartender poured me the best looking black and tan i’ve ever had. i’ve tried ordering a black and tan at each of the western bars(they either messed it up or didin’t know what i was talking about) but the lady that made mine here knew exactly what she was doing. i was thoroughly impressed, as i was half-expecting a glass of brown liquid. nope! she nailed it. anyway they have a good beer menu and live music if that’s up your alley. if you want to see quigleys when it’s pretty busy, try trivia night. it gets pretty packed

The outdoor area is large and spectacular and the inside is wood and beautiful. The service is great and when I came here, there was a guy playing guitar on the stage inside, which was neat. The patrons were chill and fun, too. I’m not a bar-bar person but I would definitely come back here.

I went for lunch about 3pm. The place was pretty dead with maybe 10 or 15 people there if even. It took FOREVER to be seated though and longer to have someone take our orders. We had to get up and get our own menus. The food wasn’t that good either. I won’t be returning.

Hmm. .. an Irish bar in a primarily vacant strip mall called Ranch Manor Mall? How very odd. But then there are a couple of things about Quigley’s Irish Pub that I found odd on the night I was there. First, I was surprised by the average age of the patrons of this place. I felt like I was out with my mom and dad. Definitely a family place with all generations weighing in. And it was packed…but it was the Saturday of St. Patty’s week so maybe that was an anomaly. There was even a soda bread contest going on in the back room. And how about this for a rare oddity. The lights came on and the bar closed at 10:30 due to some sewage problems in the men’s room. I couldn’t believe it given this is the kind of big volume night that could make or break a bar of this kind. Bad luck, for sure, for the staff and owner. Service was a bit of a challenge because it was so packed. They only had two bartenders and getting their attention was not easy; especially since they seemed to know everyone but us. But the beer was certainly cheap!($ 2.75) You know when a round is $ 6 or less that you’re «not in Kansas» anymore(or maybe we were!). Unfortunately, service didn’t get any better even once we found a booth in the bar to sit in. Definitely understaffed for such a busy night. Quigley’s has a huge beer garden which looked like a good place to hang in the warmer months. Also the menu has plenty of bar favorites as well as some interesting plays on «Irish» food and it all looked and smelled good as it went by to land on other tables. Doubt I’ll make Quigley’s a destination in the future– but for the few hours I was there, the beer was cheap and cold, the parking lot huge(ah the joys of a strip mall) and the people were friendly. Not bad for a bar in a strip mall.

I guess I’d never actually been in on a weekend before because my last two trips have been pretty horrific and from what I’m told, it’s pretty normal lately. Cover bands. Fucking cover bands everywhere, please quit. Thanksgiving weekend I stopped in with a couple of friends and we were bombarded by an ear splitting band of 30something gents covering all the alterna-rock hits of the mid mid to late 1990s; Eagle Eye Cherry and Lit particularly stand out. I’m at a loss for words because I really don’t get it. Last weekend I was at my parents’ house again for the Christmas weekend and since the place some of us were going to go ended up being closed, we reluctantly came into Quigley’s again. Now if you’re anything like me, you’ll enjoy Christmas music for the first week, maybe week and a half before it starts boring holes in your head. December 26 celebrates the annual end of Christmas music season everywhere in the world but Quigley’s. The worst part is that it wasn’t even just the radio or a jukebox. Oh no, they had a band of three middle aged men that committed music sins that include but are not limited to: being in a cover band, wearing wacky hats, using a drum machine with only three pre-programmed beats, running acoustic guitars through distortion and effects pedals, trying to be the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and more. Once again, I don’t get it. A buddy that still goes to trivia semi-regularly says it’s still pretty easy to win so that’s cool and even though I haven’t been in a year and a half I won’t demote only to one star. That said I will avoid on the weekends at all costs.

After yet another stressful day, my friends and I decided to seek some solace in a couple of frosty bevvies. It was beautiful day on Friday so we headed over to Quigleys. The last time I was there was when it was Riley’s Daughter. We sat in the beer garden which is pretty spacious. While there was plenty of room and seating, I hated the fact that people can smoke out there. As for the service, it took us a while to get drinks because there was only one server working that area. It’s a Friday afternoon and there’s only ONE person working the beer garden? Doesn’t make sense… Oh well. The food was ok — typical bar fare. Not much to write home about. I don’t know what it’s like later in the evening or what the atmosphere is like inside. Since it’s close to work, I’m sure I’ll be back here to check it out.
