First time ever eating at one of these locations(told the staff this) not even a recommendation or a hello, ordered their version of a Philly steak(firehouse steak and cheese) it had three small chunks of bell pepper no signs of onions very wet and soggy… staff doesn’t care attitude and sloppy sandwich is going to doom this business… only plus was the pickle slice they threw inside my sandwich wrapper(didn’t even ask for it). The Subway steak and cheese is way better then this and that’s not saying much, cause they suck too!

For the $ 24.00 I just spent on three sandwiches, I would have to say we were very dissapointed. The bread was not toasted, the lettuce was put in the steamer making it soggy. All three sandwiches we very soggy.

Best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life! The large is so big it can feed 3 people. I honestly don’t understand how subway across the street is still in business

Subs are just okay. The first time we went was a couple of weeks after opening, waited 30 minutes(on a seemingly slow day). I figured they are still learning and gave them 2 more chances with the wait 20 minutes each time(again on a slow day). The older gentleman who I am assuming is the owner behind the counter needs to be a bit more friendlier in my opinion. No greeting from any of the employees on any of our visits.

The wait time was forever and the sandwich overpriced for what I received! I was not impressed! Hit and a miss.

This place is not good at all! I was extremely excited to to try out this sandwich shop and was disappointed with pretty stale bread(which is the most important part of a great sandwich) & what tasted like Miracle Whip rather than real mayo??? What are we? Poor hillRODS circa 1981? Who in god’s name uses Miracle Whip? I seriously doubt I’ll be going back, I may try a different location to see if the«Oak Lawn location» is the problem.

Just got back from this hell hole. The employees are not friendly. 2 subs took 25 minutes. they do not know what they are doing there.

First of all the sandwiches are really good but the employees are not friendly at all. It seems like they don’t even want you to order. They need to go train at jimmy Johns where they are always friendly

Went there for the first time today. Ordered four sandwiches and the service was reasonably quick. My sandwich was good, after they got it right. The girl asked me 3 times what I wanted and it was still wrong. When I brought it back I repeated my order 2 times and she finally had to write it down. Normally I would be forgiving but it was a simple order for one sandwich, and there was no one else ordering or waiting. Probably not going to be coming back any time soon.

When I think«firehouse» i definitely conjure up images of huge chili pots and hungry men enjoying huge portions. This place does not evoke any of those homely, comfort food feelings. I ordered the signature turkey bacon ranch with chili. The new staff clearly needs practice, ticket times are long. The chili was insulting, it clearly came out of a can and was utterly flavorless. Why is there a wall of premium hot sauces when the chili itself has no flavor. Picking up 2 bottles of Daves insanity sauce would’ve been the better buy than this meal. You won’t be wowed by this place and I think this is the important point of this review. SUBWAYISBETTERTHANTHISPLACE.

Not worth the money. Overpriced and not filling at all. It’s a more expensive version of Quiznos

Went there for the first time about an hour ago and waited a long time for my food. It was good, but before I left a couple and a single man walked out because nobody came to wait on them. Seems like there was no management to get the crew moving.

Food arrived quickly and everyone was friendly. I ordered the pastrami with the combo chips and drink. I thought it was reasonably priced and I like coca cola freestyle machine. I will definitely go back.

Heard good things stopped in heard a 40 something yr old guy(turned out to be the owner) yelling at a couple of teenage girl employees like they were garbage. As a single dad of 2 girls i had to leave before I got in trouble. I will not support this establishment

For this place to be brand spankin new, it sure is dirty. I went in for the first time last week and was very put off. The place was filthy first observation. I walk up to counter and not even greeted in a friendly manner by the so called«owner». Needless to say not impressed with his customer service skills He has a very nasty attitude and rolled his eyes as people came in. Definitely need someone friendlier as the first face you meet not the condescending owner. Only reason I gave it two stars was for the simple fact that the girls making the actual subs were friendly and nice. Honestly dont think I will ever set foot in this place again and have already dissuaded multiple people from even trying it out. when this place goes out of buisness in a few months they should consider putting in A Jersey Mikes.

Stopped by on a Friday night for a late dinner to go. I’ll start by saying the subs were good, but at $ 20 for two large subs it’s very over priced. At the time of our visit there was an older, not so friendly, man taking the orders. While we were waiting I couldn’t help but notice how irritated the guy got every time a customer walked in. At 8:30, a half hour before closing, the man turned off the open sign. As we were leaving, well before 9, we passed a guy who walked in and was promptly sent on his way. Bottom line… I’m not over paying to be treated rudely at a business that may or may not be open when they say.

Newly opened up in the area and I’m a little torn about my review. The food was good but a little pricey. I love, love, love the coke remix machine. If I ever win the lottery I’m going to buy one for myself. The only thing was that they were S-L-O-W. I tried to tell myself that everyone is probably new since it just opened but it was still frustrating. I’m sure they will get better as time goes on!

I’ve frequented the location in Orland Park for the better part of two years. Always good service there so when the Oak Lawn location opit was a no brainer for our family and I to come in and check it out. The décor is nice. That’s where the praise ends. I’ve never waited 35 minutes for a sub sandwhich before and I have no intention in doing it ever again. I understand if the staff is new(as demonstrated by the girl at the register asking another how to do things on the register) but that isn’t the customer’s(our) problem. Half an hour for a sand which is unacceptable. This isn’t even to mention that 2⁄6 came out either topped wrong or simply being the wrong sandwhich all together. I’ll be back because the sandwiches are great, but it won’t be for awhile. I advise someone, anyone, to come in and do a bit more training.

We got 3 different subs. The one I had was the steak and cheese and it was delicious! It’s a little pricy if you get a large sub but they are definitely worth it. The hot sandwiches aren’t toasted but steamed so it doesn’t get the crunchy taste which is nice. The company asks if you would like to round up your total to donate for fire rescue. It’s a good business and definitely will come back.
