when i purchased a full «package» of ge appliances from the oak harbor home depot, they asked for a telephone number to reach me regarding delivery/​order issues. when i asked, they assured me that my telephone number would not be used for telemarketing and they assured me that they would not share my number with any third parties that might use it for marketing, surverys, etc. i am now being harassed with phone calls from solicitors — calling from a number that reads, «ge dealer» on my caller i.d. i never used to get calls on this telephone number from solicitors/​marketers.
i now hope that home depot will fail. by the way, i just ordered a couple of new kohler toilets on
— deeply discounted and with free delivery!!! i love sticking it to home depot– since they stuck it to me!

Had a great experience here. Everyone is willing to help. The only downfall to this store is they have no appliances in stock. Everything has to be ordered. We ordered a washer and dryer. So it takes two weeks just to get to the store. Then it takes another two weeks to be delivered. We unfortunately didn’t have a washer and dryer once we moved to the island. So going 4 weeks to wait on appliances is a big deal. Probably easier to go off the island to buy.

The worst customer Service ever!!! Everyone treats u like crap. They don’t even know where items are in the store. Try ordering online and have it shipped to store they lose it don’t have it or was shipped some where else. Go to ace hardware or frontier.

I went in to get some plywood and casters for an under bed train table that I didn’t have exact measurements or instructions for. Everyone that helped me figure out what size plywood to get, casters that would be best, cutting it to size and getting it in my car was great. Being my first building project I really appreciate the expertise.

Pretty standard Home Depot except it is far less busy than I am used to.
They have some things Ace hardware doesn’t. I have not had a bad experience with customer service or returns, but it is just another big box.

I can’t tell you how high my blood pressure is right now, but after all the mistakes they made during the ordering and installation of hardwood flooring and carpet, I’m surprised I haven’t had a heart attack yet. Never, never, never use such a big, impersonal store if you want something done right.
