Papa John’s Pizza

Like 6 olives on my pizza, and garlic knots are burnt.
Really super disappointed. Really had a craving.

I just went in and asked if I could buy two sides of bacon for my little kiddos the teenager working ask his manager and they said no. And I asked really you can’t just sell me a little bit of bacon the answer was no.

I have never been a fan of Papa John’s pizza because the crust has ALWAYS been burnt. However, while visiting my Dad on the island and staying at a local hotel — my daughter and I were hungry and she found this Papa John’s very near to where we were staying — and they delivered.
Ordered the Hawaiian BBQ Pizza — and it came within a very reasonable time and was the hottest delivered pizza I’ve ever had. It was great because …
1. the crust was NOT burnt;
2. perfect amount of BBQ sauce to topping ratio
3. pizza was hot and fresh
4. delivery person was pleasant
While I probably won’t order from Papa John’s in my local area — if I am ever back up on Whidbey in the Oak Harbor area — I wouldn’t hesitate to order pizza from here.

«I ate it I’ll rate it.», best pizza chain in town. Fresh mushrooms not canned. Best sauce wish they sold spaghetti sauce. Delivery to Base and in town to edges. More of a chewy tug at crust and a Tad browned on edges. never soggy on bottom. Real cheese and great Canadian bacon. They have PLATES and napkins and garlic butter sauces or parmigiana or hot peppers for delivery. GREAT place. Tell em how you want it and they will do it. Extra cheese or extra sauce or light pepperoni or cooked a bit more well done. That one they can do if their not to busy. A machine runs the pizzas

Worst pizza EVER!!! Tried it for a second time to give them the benefit of the doubt, unfortunately they failed once again. The pizza was absolutely repulsive super thin on one side, super burnt, super greasy, I’m so sick I’m about to puke. Amen.

Worst pizza around. Sauce is much too sugary and meats did not seem fresh. The NFL could have done much better. Free pizza? Overcharged.

I was not disappointed. I had breadsticks and a thick crust vegan pizza, all non-​greasy and yummy.

I think when reviewing a franchise the most important factor would be that it upholds the standards you expect from that franchise. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this Papa John’s, it has the quality I expect from the franchise. With that being said, I usually grade franchises on a 1 to 3 star scale with the exception of sit down restaurants. Papa John’s has great pizza, and if you utilize the website you can build your pizza and place the order entirely online. If you like Papa John’s pizza you will not be dissapointed!
