Louie-G’s Pizza

i recently ate here and am very disappointed. There was a large group of people who were eating there that were being blatantly racist, talking about how they’re going to make Mexicans build a wall, I am Mexican myself and was very uncomfortable. They were also talking about the Orlando shooting saying things such as, «we need to shoot more of them» and «just shoot them all». The staff did nothing like it was no big deal. I’ve been here a few times and I can honestly say that will probably be my last time going. I’m really shocked that they would let these people continue to shout these things and do nothing about it. So thank you Louie-​Gs for not only making me feel not welcome but thank you for making me realize your restaurant is not a good place to bring family/​friends or children.

the girls at the register aren’t all that nice BUT… the food is what keeps me coming back! I love the fried mac n cheese, fried pickles, their bacon cheeseburgers are good too… I really enjoy the food and normally just call it in the take it home! They will also deliver but i like mine super fresh!

Very disappointed. Went there last night (Friday, May 13). First time going. Heard they had the best burgers and I love a good burger. Walked in a little before 8:00. Downstairs was not busy. 3 tables had people sitting at them. Only 1 available table to sit at that was clean. We got there before 8:00 and didn’t get our food until 9:00. We saw at least 5 people walk up to the front to check on their order, one person even cancelling because they were tired of waiting. From where we were sitting we could see inside the kitchen. If you keep the kitchen that unkept then keep it out of sight of customers!
Not impressed at all with burger. Very bland. Like I said I’m a burger girl so it takes a lot for me to not eat the whole thing. I struggled eating half.
Kids got a cheese pizza. It was ok. Nothing to rave about.
Giving 2 stars because the waitress didn’t charge us for drinks because of the wait.
It would’ve been nice to see a drink menu. We were there long enough to have had a couple.

The building itself is blah, but upstairs has great tv’s for sports and the pizza is tasty. The staff was friendly.

Best pizza in Oak Harbor. Some of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. The fried pickle chips are OMG awesome and I don’t even like pickles.

I ate here a while ago, and for the most part, the food was decent. A little greasy but decent. I did like their pizza. But today, I called and asked if they were delivering today, and they said yes. The wait was 45 mins. Sure no problem. At one hour and ten minutes, I call back. The person said the driver was on the road and should be here shortly. Twenty minutes later, still no food. I call to cancel. That’s just bad business. I love supporting local businesses, so this was a real disappointment.

I wish I remembered the waitress’ name as she was fantastic. We didn’t try the pizza, but thought the thai chili, mango habanero and buffalo wings were really good. They weren’t as hot as some other places, but they were fried really well and the sauces were flavorful. Overall, a very good experience while watching the San Jose Sharks beat the Los Angeles Kings in the first round of the 2016 NHL playoffs.

1 more star for being OH’s sports hub. I watched the Olympics, the World Cup, Seahawks, Sounders, (sorry Mariners), and college football there, sometimes alone and sometimes with a group. Projector downstairs, multiple screens upstairs. Always a good time.

It’s normal. Nothing too fancy.
Honestly we came because we were told it’s the best pizza ever.
I got the Unilocal deal with the coupon. The company seemed very confused when redeeming it but eventually fixed it. I will say the pizza had a ton of cheese which I actually like.
We also liked that the upstairs bar area was for adults only and children were downstairs! Good thinking lol

Pizza is doughy. Wouldnt reccomend pizza here. Chicken wings are decent. Havent been in side just ordered for delivery. Pizza is greasy (not like NY pizza) and the dough is not even cooked through

Pizza and calzone dough always seem undercooked. I think the oven is set too high to compensate for cooking time. The calzone has real ricotta which isn’t done by anyone else in town and it makes a big difference. The portion is huge and served with marinara sauce.
The wings are good and lots of flavors to choose from but I hated the garlic parmesan (mostly because it’s not a sauce but over fried crusty bits). I’d like to see an option for marinara as a dipping sauce for the wings just because it’s different (I’ve tried it and I like it).
Employees are rough around the edges which is nice. Bar has lots of tv’s and viewing angles and it’s a great place to watch your hometown team.
Tl;DR food could use some improvement but it’s a good place to have a beer.

If there was a garlic roll eating competition, my kids would win. The LOVE the rolls here. They also love coloring on the tabletop. The wait can be long, so don’t come if you are in a hurry. Staff is friendly, pizza is yummy.

The crust on the pizza was soft just how I like it, almost too soft like it was not cooked long enough because the cheese and toppings slipped off easily. Delicious cheese!
Came here for the wings, were pretty satisfied with them. Had the buffalo sauce but plan on trying more of the flavors. Service was nice, timely.
Will be back!

I would give this place less than one star, but it appears that one is the minimum. I placed an order for delivery around 6:20 and was told that delivery would be about 55 mins. I was okay with that as it gave me time to straighten up the house and other small things while I waited. I also paid for my bill with my debit card over the phone when the man took my order (this will become important later).
By 7:45 my food still had not arrived, so I called the restaurant and asked for an update and was told that all the driver’s were out. Finally, at 8:00 pm (an hour and 40 mins later) a girl showed up at my door with my order and asked me for $ 19.00 to pay for it. I explained that I paid on the phone and I did not have any cash in the house. Her only reply was «well my receipt says cash». I was so angry I just refused the order and closed the door.
So I cannot in good faith testify to the quality of the food, but the service was terrible. I will not even entertain the idea of trying to order from here again. I’ll also be watching my bank account to make sure the charge does not show up since they supposedly didn’t have my account information anyway.

Ok, I try to stay positive with my reviews but I don’t think I can with this place. Food wise, it was a dismal. The employees and environment was very friendly and quaint.
Of course we come for the atmosphere and service, but the food just really brought down everything. Also, I made the order togo so I guess service is kind of out of the question.
While I was waiting for my order though I really enjoyed the children’s drawing around everywhere, and also the video games they had available in the back. If anyone enjoys Mortal Kombat 4… they have it! Also, there is a couple of TV’s on the wall. So for a family place… definitely a good place to go.
Let’s start with the Chicken Salad. The lettuce was really soft. As if it was left in a bin for a week. I’m not sure if the cheese was a substitute. They used mozzarella it was really thick cut and a mouthful. I couldn’t eat all of it. I would say a good ¼lb of cheese was there. Tomato was sliced and cut in half. Definitely need a fork and knife. The salad was not bite size ready but that’s okay. I just felt really sad about the freshness of the salad. The chicken was pretty good. Very juicy and crispy and quite delectable. I can’t say too much on it though because I don’t know if it was frozen originally.
Garlic Knots! Now, what I like most people do not. I will come back for them again. I got a half a dozen. They were the size of a good dinner roll and filled with cheese! It had the garlic taste and on top of it more garlic chunks! Yum! The bread texture had a really good bite to it, and even re-​heating it the knots had a good taste to it.
Bread Mushrooms — I like mushrooms a lot; so definitely a little bias on this. The breading almost had a beer batter texture and was drizzled with parmesan cheese. Now that being said, I’ve always noticed that breaded mushrooms always have a watery feeling from the mushrooms like I said I feel like it’s normal but it’s always a little off putting.

Placed an order for take out at work. Saddened by delivery not starting til 4 pm. The guy who went to pick it up waited an extra half hour because there wasn’t any cheese for the nachos. There were 3 orders of nachos and none of them came with sour cream like the menu listed. I ordered a Veggie Grinder because I’m a vegetarian and of course it came with a metric ton of meat on it. Pretty upsetting when you’ve already waited over an hour to get your food. I called and received a surprised response to my order being messed up and then without taking my name or anything told me to come in and explain to the manager what happened and I would get a free sandwich. I decided not to even to try bc I have little faith I would actually get a veggie sandwich with no problems. I will never go back.

I was a bit taken back by this place upon getting to our table. We could overheat several people talk about how their orders were wrong and some people got tired of leaving and walked out.
Yes, the service was slow. But for those of us who waited it out … boy were we rewarded.
We had four different dishes at our table: fish & chips, pizza, the diplomat (burger) and the chicken parm sandwich.
All 4 dishes were OUTSTANDING.
The staff was friendly and apologetic and the prices are VERY good. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside (or inside, for that matter) but the food is AWESOME.

I wrote a lengthy review, but Unilocal was acting up and didn’t like my old password, so it’s lost now. That said, the pizza was good, The Wrangler burger is good, the fries are good, they don’t have Heinz Ketchup, the arcade is nice. We’ll go back

We stopped in for lunch on Sunday. My two kids loved coloring on the table clothes while waiting for their pizza.
Kids menu could be a bit larger. I ordered a slice of pizza for both kids… had to order an actual pizza and wait another 30 minutes.
I ordered the all you can eat fish special… very good! Again, another 30 minutes for a refill.
My ex-​husband waited another 30 minutes for fries refill.
Our server was wonderful as was our food… I’d like larger portions for kids and faster cooking service. Luckily I had cash for kids and Dad to play pinball… coincidence? I think not. And the end of visitation, kids were fed and spent time with Daddy… even if it was on my dime! Well worth it! Haha!
I must also mention… my son is autistic and HATES fries. While waiting for the extra pizza to arrive he grabbed fries from both mine and Dad’s basket to scrape up the garlic or cheese leftovers from the child’s plate… including his sister’s…very unlikely of him… that’s how good it was!
Kitchen may have been slow… but when my kids devour food and wait for 30 minutes? It has to be good!
