Glamour Nails

I only gave two stars because of the pricing, but as I’ve heard many others on here say… You get what you pay for.
The Good: A pedicure was only $ 18.00 and a gel fill-​in was the same. The next good, I considered good, but now I see why; I went on a Wednesday afternoon and there was no one in the place, I mean no one, just me and the shop worker or pedicurist… whatever they are called. Anyway, I thought this was great because I was in a hurry. The third good is that she designs very well. I love the design.
The Bad: The gel job was bad… I mean very bad, I was at home flaking the caked up gel from the corners of my fingernails. The paint job was horrible, I can see through some spots of the polish (I got yellow) and for my pedicure, the polish was very very light. I asked her if she could put another coat of yellow on and she argued that she had already put three coats on and two coats of clear. «That five coat. No more» was her exact response. She also said that in order for it to be dark, to match my hands, I would need a white undercoat. I thought, if she knew this, why didn’t she offer or just do it? This was a horrible experience. I am vowing to never go back! I don’t care how good the prices are or how pretty the designs.
And to add insult to injury; she had the nerve to ask me for a tip. I definitely got out of there as fast as I could.
