Customer service in Oakbrook, IL sucks, store associates are kind of racist and I wonder where in earth they came from. They need to provide customers with product detail, availability, seize guidance. Their service sucks. I have been a customer of Woodfield one for 3 years. I spent 2 hours at the store today. 1. During the exchange store girl didn’t offer price adjustment intentionally 2. Went back to line again after finding out all items are 50% so I can get price adjustment, the one made me so itchy without saying hi she may not able to offer adjustment. I said just do it because purchased only a day before. 3. The item I liked was out of stock but they even refused to offer any help to check other stores rather than wasting my time. 4. While I was in store store associates gave me a dirty look and went back to employers room 5. In 2 hours Finally begged other lady Chris and she checked in their system and told me Northbrook has it. 6. I called myself and helped myself in order to buy Hanna Anderson boys swim pant. Ha ha . I would fire those bunch of bitches and hire energetic and professional team to boost the sales.

Not very helpful staff in a store that was practically empty. Really disappointing merchandise — Mickey Mouse and Peanuts cartoons. Who thought that would be a good idea?.

decided to stop by to see if there was anything i could get for my pregnant friend who i’ll be visiting next week. what drew me in was the scandinavian designs on the display window… i hadn’t even looked at the name of the store or anything but i could tell right away from the patterns on the clothes that this was very scandinavian inspired(being half norwegian, i just got that radar i guess ^_^) … and then it all made sense when i saw the name of the store and actually entered where they have all the swedish words with their english definitions high up on the wall close to the ceiling… since i don’t have children of my own, i had no clue about this brand until last monday when i went here… the staff was really friendly and nice. i could easily have been ignored since obviously i’m not a mom and most of the other shoppers had their children in tow… 5 stars for carrying a lot of baby/children’s clothing in organic cotton! i love the large prints on their pajamas… so scandinavian… yes the prices are definitely not cheap, but it seemed like they had some pretty good sales plus something about every sweater was $ 19. i hope my friend likes what i got for her baby who is expected to be born in march :)

I love their stripes! My sweet baby boo boo decked out in their stripes from head to toe just drives me all goo goo mama insane. And anyone who knows me will know that this fits nicely with my serious Swedish fixation. Bright colors, perfectly spaced chunky stripes, a clean fit and no damned advertising — and most of their stuff is organic too. Colors are like red and white and orange without most of that baby blue and pink crap found in so many baby stores. And a European sizing system that makes so much more sense than the gooblygook of American baby sizes. To be clear, I love the long johns, the hats, the Swedish moccasins and some of the other stuff, but some of the other stuff is some of the ugliest shit I have ever seen. But the good stuff, that great stuff, is totally worth having to be in the presence of the butt ugly stuff. Nothing here is cheap, not in price or quality. A pair of baby pajamas will run you almost $ 40 not on sale. But they are really the best quality kids clothing I have yet to find, and they do not depreciate in value very much at all — resell your Hanna stuff on eBay for almost the cost of new sometimes for coveted styles and designs. And the stuff lasts forever — can easily be worn by multiple kids with minimal wear. Most of my Hanna Andersson stuff has come straight from digging for gold in thrift stores and trolling on eBay for deals, but this is where I tell the grandmothers to shop. The staff here is fairly helpful and the store is very well laid out — and there’s a cute little play area. This is one of only two Hanna Andersson stores in the Chicagoland region, surprisingly — the other one is at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg.
