passing thru town when my windshield wiper screwed up in the middle of a torential rain storm. Stopped in during their lunch hour and they fixed it in 10 mins. at NOCHARGE. They worked on my car and did not charge me at all. and were very pleasant to talk to. I only have 150k miles on my chevy cruze but when I need another car, I will give them a call even though they are 10 hours from the house.

Service is terrible! I took my 2010 Chevy Traverse in for the recalls and told them the cold air would only stay on for 20 minutes and then go hot. Plus, the car seemed to be making a thumping noise when I turned the wheel at a slow speed. They called and told me that it would $ 750 to fix the air and $ 200 to replace a front bar. I called my local mechanic(I grew up in a small town an hour away) and asked for a quote, they quoted me $ 400 – 450 for the air and $ 156 for the bar. So, I told Jack Schmidt I just wanted my car back. They told me that it was ripped apart and I wouldn’t be able to pick it up until tomorrow, but that they would give me a loaner if I did the repairs with them, and they agreed to reduce the price to $ 675. I agreed and then they called me the next afternoon and stated that my car was ready, but the blower going from foot to air wasn’t working — and if I wanted that fixed, it would be another $ 275! Which happened to be the $ 950 they tried to charge me in the beginning. I was digusted, just picked the car up and called Chevy Corporate. Chevy Corporate created a case and said that my car would most likely be referred to another dealer to be fixed at no additional charge. However, GM just called me and told me that I had no proof Jack Schmidt did anything wrong(they wanted paperwork that Jack Schmidt did not give me) and so they were closing my case. I’m disgusted with my service at Jack Schmidt and that GM doesn’t stand behind their dealers. I won’t be purchasing another GM car!
