Not impressed with the food. The almond chicken was pretty good, the Crab Rangoon was soggy and the seafood bird nest should be taken off the menu because it tastes like dogs shit. It was full of fake crab which consists of nasty pieces of fish parts and bits that fell off the conveyor belt when making fish sticks. I mean that shit looks like it came out of a caulk gun and painted red. You shouldn’t feed people that bs just saying. But, they do deliver so I will probably order from here again. I gotsta get my Chinese food fix on and the traffic in this town blows

I love their food and their prices. Did I mention, they deliver? Their combos include soup & an eggroll! I love their moo shu pork, almond chicken, kids love the sweet & sour chicken. Wife lives it all, as well!

The hubby and I got the dinner combos again and were fully satisfied. love this place! We got the eggplant stir fry and the general tso chicken and they were soooo good and huge portions-HUGE. My husband said the general tso was the best he has ever had and he gets if everywhere so this is a big deal. Go tonight and get some dinner, you will not be disappointed. I also found out they deliver. BONUS

Since I moved to this area, I always drove the 15 minutes to my old chinese spot by my old house because they had that one dish that i LOVED, Chicken with Garlic(Red) Sauce and no veggies… I always got flyers from Royal Wall, but never went. One night, I decided to go for it. I called an order, Garlic chicken with white rice, and picked it up about 20 minutes later. Mind you, we both(gentleman that answered and myself) repeated the order at least 3 times. As I paid, I opened the bag to check it before I left. It ended up being Curry Chicken instead. I told him it should’ve been Garlic Chicken with no veggies. He quickly apologized and had the cook make me a new one. Only took about 10 minutes. No biggie for me since I wasn’t in a rush. Ordered the garlic chicken a week ago and it was really really good. No complaints when I picked it up. Still, I’m giving it a 4-star review because I haven’t tried much from the menu yet. PS the other place I used to go to would throw in an Egg Roll with your meal. This place does not, even though their prices are pretty much identical.

Just came here for lunch yesterday with my five year old based on the good Unilocal reviews, and boy was I not disappointed! The décor is a little iffy, the place looks pretty worn down. But if you can get past that the food was great. I’ve been living in Brighton and between the Brighton/Howell/Ann Arbor area haven’t found much good Chinese food. This place delivered what I was looking for. Everything was tasty(egg drop soup, General tsos chicken, and chicken lo mein). Not just yummy sauces but the actual meat was tasty as well. The lo mein was just like I grew up with, with the round yellow noodles that are pan fried and delish. Egg drop soup was not hot when it came out, but that was my only complaint. My five year old who never shuts up ate so much and didn’t even talk during his meal. Mom and kid approved!

Tried this place tonight, was not impressed. Restaurant was very cold temp wise, the hot tea helped. My egg drop soup was luke warm, tasted ok. I ordered almond chicken and it was very bland, the batter they use was not appealing at all. My husband ordered general tso’s chicken he rated it a 3 out of 10, glad he ordered it spicy so it had something that resembled some flavor. Needless to say we will not be returning. Service was not good either.

This is your typical Chinese take out spot which was really busy. It looks like they also deliver too. The food was ok but if want something legit go to Shangri-La.

I was surprised by the quality of the food here(I find the majority of local Chinese takeout places have lackluster or straight up disappointing food). We ordered three combination meals that came out to be $ 27. Not bad, especially since each carton was worth two meals. I’m not an orange chicken person but theirs is sooo yummy. They delivered to my house during a snow storm, so there’s that.

Just moved to the area and tried this place because of the great reviews. Was not impressed. It was just ok. Not terrible, but definitely not good. Egg rolls were very small and spring-roll like. The prtions were good and chicken was decent but overall, the flavor wasnt that good. Will try the other one down the street that DIDN’T get good reviews next time to compare.

I think this place is by far one of the best Chinese restaurants I have eaten at in the metro Detroit area. Not only is there food great but everyone is so friendly, I recommend this to anyone who enjoys Chinese. My personal favorite is the general Taos chicken with fried rice and hot and sour soup. I need to update my rating because of their fantastic customer service. I have requested several modifications of their lunch menu items and they have prepared my food perfectly! Try switching the listed meat to tofu. Also the Mongolian Shrimp is amazing.

Orange chicken portion was huge, and pretty good. Made with real orange peel, always a good sign. General T’s chicken, similar to orange chicken but sweeter, spicier. Also huge portions. Egg drop soup good. Takeout comes in those nice, expensive reusable containers that keep the food better than Styrofoam.

It isn’t the same as NY Chinese food but it’s still pretty damn good. I love the vegetable fried rice. And the crab Rangoon– yummy! I always get them. And they deliver fast– what’s to complain about?

This place deserves the high ratings it’s been getting. Their food is consistently a solid fallback plan for the nights you were too preoccupied to make plans for dinner. Their sesame chicken is very good alongside the fried rice. The egg drop soup is fantastic but like the other guy was saying, the quality of the soup tends to vary. My family seems to love the wanton soup as well, although it didn’t do anything for me. And the pricing makes for a good deal when you’ll probably have enough leftovers for a second meal when you’re only spending 7 to 8 bucks. If you order a huge meal, I think either 40 or 50 bucks +, they give you a free 2 liter soda of your choosing. But I’ve heard something alarming about this restaurant, very alarming, which is why I like to rate anonymously. I was waiting on food so I got to talking with the cute girl manning the counter. We had some rapport going, clearly, because as I go to tip, she told me not to. She said… it was either the owner or the manager, someone above her paygrade, is taking 100% of those tips and the workers manning the floor and kitchen don’t see a penny of it. For the record, I offered to just tip her and she refused, so I like to think there’s something more to that claim than her feeling greedy. It’s been a couple years since that conversation though so I dunno, maybe they changed their policy since then? I don’t tip when I go there because that’s an incredibly scummy business practice in my mind. What a shame.

I won’t lie,… right off the bat, I have had better Chinese before. But on the follow-up, there’s VERY few places that top this one. You can see from the rating that I really like this place, and here are a few reasons why. But first, a little backstory. My wife and I have lived in Novi for going on 3 years, literally only 0.5 miles away from this place, and haven’t tried it due to one person’s review. Well, fast forward to current date and time(and three orders in three days), and it’s our favorite local Chinese Food place in Novi. 1) The amount of food you get, for the price, and quality; is amazing to say the least. For $ 20(tip and delivery included), my wife and I got 2 full entrée’s, 2 big cups of soup, 2 egg rolls and 2 spring rolls(had to try them, everyone was talking about them on here). 2) We got delivery everytime(why drive .5 miles, when it’s just right there. Support your local drivers with easy money. The Delivery has NEVER taken more than 15 minutes from order, to our door. It’s ALWAYS been piping hot(almost too hot!), and very well prepared. 3) Who doesn’t love a good Sesame Chicken dish. I always love to get mine drowning in sauce, but on the other side I love crispy chicken. I never get them both! Until now. I don’t know how they do it, but a good ¾th of my chicken is always crispy and literally covered with sauce. It’s so good! I could go on and on about what’s good about this place, but let’s face facts, you guys want to know what NOT to get. I will honestly state that so far, only two things haven’t met our expectations, but it’s not even by any real reason other than we expected too much. 1) The Soups — I always get Wonton soup, and my wife always gets Egg Drop Soup. They are never prepared the same, no matter when you order them. It could be something small, such as a different texture on the wrapper or egg. To the broth is either light or heavy handed. That doesn’t mean they are good, but what I’m getting at is the lack of consistency in their food(which is both a good and bad thing sometimes). 3) While the entrée’s have really nice portions, the egg rolls, spring rolls and wontons in the soup leave a lot to be desired. In the wonton soup, you get two wontons(everytime I’ve ordered, it’s been the same), but with the amount of broth they give you, you wish for something more to slurp up with it. The egg rolls are very good, but usually very oily and sometimes pathetic on the inside materials. The spring rolls, while very good(with the duck sauce to dip!) are OMG greasy. Our fingers were shining by just picking these up for a few seconds. So in conclusion,… give this place a shot! You never know what you might like, and might find yourself liking. It has a HUGE menu, so you can never complain they don’t have anything you don’t like. –Steve

Delivered within 20 minutes in middle of a snow storm. Nice and hot. Food was pretty good. My only concern was that it appeared an adult was having a young child(maybe 12 – 14 years old?) take the food to the door while someone waited in the vehicle. That seemed very weird to me. Maybe take your child to work day? But that doesn’t mean put em to work. Nice kid though. Just odd.

My favorite Chinese place. Great prices and great food! I must add that lately they have shrunk their portion sizes. However, it’s still a great deal.
