Place used to be crowded and fun at one time but is mostly empty these days. Better stay home drink and listen to music than come here

Attended the Magic Men show tonight. SERIOUS disappointment. So many women were allowed to crowd on to the dance floor that no one at the outer edges could see the dancers. And the dancers, they couldn’t be bothered to make it around to the rest of the venue so that the majority of the women could enjoy the experience. There are four poles set up on platforms at various points in the venue. Keeping those platforms cleared of women for the show would have allowed more access to the performers. Would certainly have allowed the men to double or even triple their tips and would have made the price of admission much more worthwhile. As it was, our party left early without tipping a single dancer because only one guy came over to the section where we were standing, by one of the dance platforms and even then he couldn’t get any time interacting with the crowd because he couldn’t get up on to the platform.
And the bar staff, those girls tried but seriously, you sell out tickets to a show with male entertainers and then you only have one bar with two FEMALE bartenders and no wait staff that I saw for the event? Again, seriously lost revenue. Two bars with 4 – 6 cute guys staffing and you would have made it. As it was, again my party decided to forgo drinks because the service was overwhelmed and well, there wasn’t any eye candy to appreciate while we were waiting.
To summarize, I would say don’t waste your time with this venue. The management certainly isn’t wasting theirs.

This place is awesome if you enjoy crappy music, overpriced drinks that are watered down and watching scantily clad girls ride bulls and brass poles.
There is no substance to this place, has no personality. I would probably prefer hanging out in an actual liquor store than this place with the same name.

Used to have a lot more fun at this place but that’s probably cause I’m getting tooo old for the scene! Turning 30 this year! lol Place is Def OVERRATED though! Dance floor is the size of my bathroom! Hate to hate on all the managers cause one of them is actually really cool but like they say. One rotten egg can spoil the bunch? There’s one manger who’s got a HUGE stick up his ass and is dumb as all hell! i advise everyone to avoid this place at ALL costs and head over to 29 Park if you’d like a real place to dance/​drink in Novi!

I had higher expectations coming to Novi with a bachelorette party. First thing I noticed is thw awful DJ, switches from Def Leppard to Chris Brown. Pick a genre. I find it almost impoissble for someone to completely mess up a Kettle One and tonic, but it happed. Twice. No where to sit because no-​one wants to dance to an amateurs ipod. Plus there should a designanted smoking area outside with heaters.
Get your shit together Novi.

It’s always a good time. Definitely my least favorite out of all clubs. The dance floor is way to small, a party bus is bigger then the floor! Drinks are over priced and they never have any specials. They have a bull that fills up with drunk women that think their lookin fly on it.
It’s a fun place to dance but that’s about it.

I can see why they advertise like crazy on the radio– they need all the help they can get.
Came here last Friday with some friends. Attached to lucky strike, the liquor store looks like it was just extra space the lucky strike had that they rented out to this place. The place is not big at all, I’m talking max occupancy of 125 maybe.
In the back they got a mechanical bull, which I’m guessing they bought from tequila rain when that place used to exist. Nothing else to really mention. Decent size dance floor, but the dis spinning that nog were not good (it wasn’t their fault, they were playing newer music, which by and large is awful). And why was there a cover exactly? Yeah, I don’t know.
Overall– no mas por favor. I’ll go shake my moneymaker else where.

Disappointing… I’ve gone multiple times but only because I was invited, there is a cover even if your female or come early, the dance floor is too small and the music repeated the same playlist… The drinks were very over priced and not strong and the mechanical bull (although fun) was a mosh pit of drunk girls looking to show off their vaginas. This place is not my favorite. Usually sneak off to lucky strike and play games. Not a fan

Holy hell, this place scarred me for life.
I came here for a bachelorette party with a group of about 8 girls. There was nowhere to sit, nowhere to put our coats, and it was so loud we couldn’t hear each other, even if we were yelling. There are tacky stripper poles laid all over the place and a mechanical bull in the back room.
At one point during the night a female employee (who looked super young) in assless chaps jumped on the bull and began gyrating against it and touching herself.
I was surprised to find this place in the same plaza as all of the nice restaurants and bars surrounding it. It was definitely out of place.
I convinced the girls that we needed to get the hell out, but first I had to use the restroom. I went through some secret door that brought me to an arcade maze. I seriously couldn’t find my way around. This place is awful.

This place should be in Pontiac with the other clubs (Seven, Tiki Bobs) — it’s almost a joke when you walk in. The club is about 800ft (smaller than my apartment) and has two small bars, a small dance area with DJ and 2 girls. It’s an awkward space, especially when not busy. It’s like, if you had a big basement and put in two bars, dimmed the lights, slapped black/​red paint on the walls and had a DJ — you would be at the Liquor Store. The fact they charge cover is a joke. They people there are sleezy, Pontiac type crowd — not a classy place. This place looks like a club for 21 and down who just care about grinding, picking up girls and getting drunk. It’s not a place for b-​day party or groups of people at all. ick!

I have grown up around Novi and if you want an ‘out of Novi experience,’ this is the place to go… not in a good way. Sleezy, small and out of the place for its location. Men, if you’re looking to take a girl home, this couldn’t be any easier. Not to be rude, but this is the sort of place that belongs in Pontiac along side Tiki Bobs. I suppose I am sometimes in that mood, but it’s so awkwardly placed between all the fine bars and resturants.
I may sound like a snob, but there is definitely a specific place for a bar like this, and it’s not Novi.

Well, if your idea of hot nights and hotter hotties is fulfilled by taking an off duty old-​person shuttle/​rehab bus re-​branded as a PARTY WAGON to an outdoor strip mall next door to The Great Indoors, World Market and a Dick’s Sports, then this is your spot! First of all, get there before 9. I walked by at 9 and there was no line! NO LINE! When I passed by around 12am, there was a huge line, and it was mostly floosies wearing «cowboy hats» and dresses that barely covered their holy parts.
They have a velvet rope line and a giant bouncer dude. It’s just weird seeing that right across from an Embassy Suites hotel, and right down the street from a shopping mall.
This is the best the suburbs have to offer, which means tons of hoochies inside, and nothing but Dick’s outside.

I’m not an avid Novi visitor so on my recent trip when my friends proposed going to the Liquor Store I had no idea what to expect.
To be honest it’s not the classiest of joints. The bar girls dress in assless chaps and bikini bottoms and the entertainment is watching drunk people get tossed off of a mechanical bull. Hilarious? Yes. The best place to go on a first, second, or hell, any date? Probably not.
The place does have a certain vibe to it that you won’t find easily, its like it knows its a bit of a joke therefore its actually a lot of fun. The DJ does a great job although the «dance floor» is a bit small and you have to share it with girls dancing on brass poles. (Classy right?)
In retrospect it was a fun night.

Ambiance: decent for a young professional or an older cheap professional. Décor is low-​lit red lights, very sexy toned, with lots of sexy innuendos, including a mechanical bull, stripper poles, and female servers wearing cowboy pants with the butts cut out and complete butt cheeks exposed! Its a free show there! That’s a good thing. It is very liberated and full of natural human sexuality lol. It doesn’t seem dingy or dirty or creepy either. The bathrooms are fairly clean until 1am. That part cannot be helped. The arcade is fun and keeps its PG because families are there until 9 or 10pm.
Drinks: I think they are expensive but I have no clue. I just know they don’t carry Skyy, so my hot friend treated me to my usual, Goose Lemon drop. For drinks, I prefer the Cran and goose or grapefruit and goose. The night I was there, the servers did not skimp on the liquor-​nice.
Mechanical bull: I’ve never done it, but its fun entertainment for all. Who says adults can’t be silly and have fun once in awhile.
Poles: Dancers in go-​go boots and bottom bearing shorts dance sometimes and it is to liven up the place. I think its hot, sexy, and talent. The girls are really good dancers who work hard at keeping their bodies fit and toned. Congrats!
Audience: 20’s to 40’s. Earlier in the night you will see the 40’s to late 50’s crowd. Hopefully, the 60’s crowd is wandering through from the Dave & Busters family side because I would hate to see a broken hip happen while on the pole scene or a someone throw out their back on the mechanical bull!
Suggestion: Don’t go there if you are looking for a sit-​down low-​key bar to watch sports on tv. major fail.

Parking lot– its in a mall. so there is quite a trek from your car to the bar. Wear a thick winter coat and check it. Love yourself and do yourself the favor.

We went here for a bachelorette party last night because M Bar Go is closed for the summer. They have electronic signs all over that say «bachelorette party central». Well, that’s because that is the only thing there, a bunch of bachelorette parties. Seriously, there looked to be over a hundred girls in there and like 5 guys, all of whom were creepy (although I did get to witness one of the sweetest mullets of all time!) and one who looked old enough to be my grandpa. If my grandpa were a weird child molester/​serial rapist. We basically rode the mechanical bull, got some hilarious pics of that! Had a drink (the bartender called my friend m’am and lost his tip). Dude, seriously, I would rather be called a b**** than m’am! Then moved on to another, way more fun bar across town.

i went there on a sat nite… it was soooo sad. the music was crappy. the dj needs 2 update his music sooo badly. in this economy, i dunno how he still has the job (he’s soo incompetent).the crowd was alrite. plzz dont bother wasting your time here. just go to 29 park, or go home…

You will be very entertained and have many wonderful stories after a night at the Liquor Store. It’s attached to an arcade, so you may stumble past a few youngsters having some family fun as you attempt to find the bathroom. There’s a mechanical bull, a happenin’ dance floor, and the place is generally packed with people who are looking to meet/​grind on hotties. If you’re a woman and even a little bit cute, expect to drink for free — between dancing on the bar and friendly but slightly-​too-​old-​for-​you men, you will be well taken care of at the Liquor Store.

Small club with a mechanical bull, small dance floor with stripper pole… fun place to be but it gets crowded really fast, the crowd is usually pretty decent, mostly 21 – 25 yr olds. I had a pretty good time, wouldnt mind going again.
