If you’re looking for soap you know for like a bath… don’t go to this location. Today I went here looking for soap to take a bath and wash my hair. They don’t have any.

The chain places are pretty standard, this store layout is more cramped than the others so I prefer the location on Coolidge Hwy in Troy. I like the clearance section, their photo frames and all the little odd and ends you needed for the home. Also good, their 20% coupons they send” a regular basis. When I moved I got a 20% off my entire purchase which was awesome!

This Bed, Bath, and Beyond isn’t much different than others in the Detroit area. I had a return after Christmas and they allowed me to return it without a receipt. I got store credit, which is great because there is always something I can find/need/want/desire. The store was clean and well stocked. The staff were nice and efficient. It’s a great place to shop in Novi!

The store is good, the employees are fabulous, the customer service is superb and the return/exchange policy is exceptional. My moderately expensive blender stopped functioning after 11months. I called BB&B and asked if I could return it there or had to return it via the manufacturer. With no questions or hesitation and with a polite and friendly demeanor the employee said I could return it there and if I did’t have my receipt they could look it up by the credit card #.(I had my receipt.) Once at the store the exchange took about 3 minutes, tops– again no question asked. Every employee was pleasant, courteous, and welcoming. BB&B has a remarkable customer oriented return/exchange policy. I will continue to support them with future purchases and hope you will too. We need more businesses that are pro-consumer! Thank you BB&B!

I did my wedding registry at this store(and supplemented at the Canton store, which is bigger and has better selections for some items). The process was pretty easy, and the online registry management was convenient. When we did the registry, well over a year ago, the clerk helping us explained that if we had an item on the registry and needed to return it at any time for any reason, it would be no problem. We did have some returns to do(oops, sat on them for about a year before finally getting around to it), and it truly was easy — probably the easiest return process I’ve ever encountered. There wasn’t even a question about why I was returning them or if there was a problem. For one of the items, we just wanted to exchange it since there was a small defect that we noticed before using it, which I pointed out. But it was no issue and we easily got a new one, even though it could have been used before returning it. I also returned an item that I had purchased that was not on our registry, and that was also quick and easy. Don’t forget your 20% off coupons, and they will take expired ones, so don’t throw them out! Update: just hours after I wrote the original part of this review, I discovered that the toaster oven we had only been using for 9 months had stopped heating. It was another registry item, so my husband took it back to the store today and exchanged it for a new one — totally easy. We did have gift receipts for all the registry stuff, so I’m sure that helped a lot.

Its a BIG store. They allegedly sell Beds Baths and Beyond. Well when I walked in all I saw was the Beyond. I saw within 5 feet everything under the sun except for Beds and Baths. A family member told me they have a plethora of Keurig Coffee for sale and I should take a looksie. I have had a Keurig coffee machine for 3yrs and love it and I am always looking for stores that sell more than the usual 5 or 6 varieties. So I walk in and bam boom there was off to side a massive wall of almost everything Keurig related. Flavors of at least 3 dozen varieties, plus all the various accessories one could get to pimp out their Coffee. Ok here’s my beef — the people who work there are essentially Starers. I noticed 3 or 4 people in BB&B aprons with name tags walk by and Stare. They don’t say hello, they don’t offer assistance, they just walk around and Watch You and Stare. I asked one gal who walked by 3 times and Stared at me… me: «Hello Is there something you want? … « BB&B gal: «I was just seeing if you needed any help…» me: «I guess ya’ll just prefer to stare at customers.» BB&B gal: «Oh I was just making sure if you needed any help…» me: «you said that already… No I am fine. No help needed. But would love it if I could shop without being Watched so intently…» BB&B gal: «uhmmm…oh yeah sorry, we’ve had issues with shoplifting.» me: «Ah ha. So Staring at every Customer is the normal thing then now huh?» BB&B gal: «uh hmmm ok if you need help just let us know…» She walked away twirling her hair with one finger mindlessly walking down the aisle. I pretty much had enough. I found what I wanted — an 18ct pk of Kahlua dark roast Keurig Coffee. Went to the counter and paid for my stuff and left. I am sure its a great store but after my encounter I am not sure I would like to return.
