Unity Center

Beautiful venue. High ceilings. Gorgeous neighborhood.
I came here for an event supporting the Daraja Academy of Kenya, which is a leadership academy for Kenyan’s brightest, though impoverished, girls. The event was hosted by NGU, a youth group within Unity Church.
2 films were shown about the school, as well as a Q&A with the founders of the academy. Snacks and beverages were served in the back.
The center itself is beautiful. Comfortable seats. Lots of light streaming in. Just a peaceful vibe in the whole building.

We hosted a 175 guest retirement party for our beloved school Director. The drinks and appetizers were in the beautiful Courtyard, and a Farewell program was performed in the Sanctuary.
Unity is a wonderful place to host events — the Courtyard and Sanctuary are lovely, the staff is amazingly helpful, the sound and audio/​visual equipment are top quality, and we could not have imagined this party being anywhere else.

My wife and I got married in December of 2011, and could not believe how gorgeous this property is. It’s like landing in an oasis in Novato.
The staff (Jacquie and Josh) were so helpful during what is usually one of the most stressful times in any relationship… but they made it a breeze.
We had the service in the sanctuary, which was decorated for the holiday season complete with a huge holiday tree and garlands. We found that we didn’t need to decorate at all. The reception was held in one of the conference rooms and the staff made us feel so at ease, the whole event went off without as much as a speed bump.
They offered many options to make our set up and event, dare I say… easy.
We took pictures in the courtyard (gorgeously landscaped), but they even have a small prayer garden a few steps from the hall.
I hope that I never get married again, but if I do… there is no doubt it will be at Unity in Marin!!!

I love the Unity Center! Jacquie, the coordinator, worked with me through my whole event. She is awesome!
I hosted my 40^th birthday party there, with a kentucky derby theme, in July and it turned out fantastic. The staff was great and very accomodating; I didn’t have one problem the whole day, which is rare. Everything went off without a hitch.
The weather was great, and the Unity Center was beautiful with the purple flowers and fountain, and my guest enjoyed themselves tremedously and raved about the venue. Everyone wanted to know how I found the location.
I can’t wait to come up with another event so I can have it there.
Thanks Jacquie and Unity Center for making this important day special for me. I will never forget the Unity Center, I had for a blast!

I am having my wedding here on July 16, 2011. The venue is beautiful! Perfect courtyard environment for an outdoor wedding reception and a beautiful updated hall for dancing/​entertaining in the evening. The best part is how responsive the staff is. They have helped us tremendously and we are very excited about our upcoming wedding. They really helped us by providing contacts of local vendors that can help make our special day perfect. A+++ to the Unity Center.
