Great spot to pick up unique gifts. Lots of different vendors sell here so make sure you walk around the whole store. I once picked up a gorgeous quilt here for $ 50. Every once in a while they have beautiful pieces of furniture here as well.

Love this store. It’s a throw back to my childhood. Purchased jewelry and furniture. Highly recommend.

I’m not a big antique person — in other words, not an expert who can attest to the quality of the antiques here, if someone is truly searching for something old, authentic, and of high quality.
However, I like this antique store very much. The prices are reasonable, the store is well-​lit, spacious, and welcoming.
For instance, yesterday, I brought my baby niece in – I didn’t let her walk around knocking over things or anything like that — but the people who worked there gave me the benefit of the doubt about that, and didn’t frown on the fact that I was there with a kid.
FOR FAMILIES WITH KIDS — there is a fun, talkative (!) gumball machine that the kids will happily put quarters into while you browse. The female employee who works there told me that kids will sometimes come in the store just to use it. :)
I don’t *think* there is a dedicated parking lot, but as long as it’s not a farmer’s market day or any other special event downtown, parking is pretty easy to find, and it’s free.

Great selection if you look closly you can find some amazing items. I got a german mark and a roman coin. Great shop

I’ve been coming into Sentimental Journey for several years now, and it’s a really great store. There’s always awesome finds to be discovered, there’s just such a variety of product they have I couldn’t list off or pin down what they sell, it’s a store anyone can enjoy. They always have reasonable prices and are friendly, it’s great making conversation with the staff, and has a neat environment. But the reason why I’m writing this is because I went in earlier today and eyed this beautiful copper cuff, but had to leave. And I came back a few minutes after 6 and they were closing, but the man working let me come in and buy the cuff, and was so nice, and they definitely deserve some good points. I love this store a ton, it’s a great shop in downtown.

This was actually a cool find, the shop is clean and organized pretty well, even for an antique store. It had a decent selection and the women running the counter were great help. If i ever need some random stuff for gifts, I’m there!

What a great little store! Tucked away on a quiet corner in adorable downtown Novato, perfect place to wander on a Sunday afternoon.
Lots of vintage jewelry and knick knacks, a few pieces of furniture (like a barber’s chair!) some clothing and everything in between. They had a large section of handmade/​embroidered linens, which weren’t vintage but were lovely all the same.
I found a great 70’s embroidered silk blouse but wasn’t prepared for the $ 69 price tag. Most of their stuff was reasonably priced however.
Very friendly but non-​hovering employees.
