Top Line Nail & Hair Spa

I think this place has a new name. I just can’t remember exactly what it is, but «Serene Salon» showed up on my credit card statement. It’s located in a small building between O’Henry’s and Camellia Grill. I came with a friend who’d been here before, otherwise I would have never tried it. I must say, I’m impressed. They were quick and efficient, yet took enough time so I didn’t feel rushed. They have a pretty decent selection of polishes and gels, which I appreciate. My gel is still going strong after 11 days.

Very attentive personneel. I was a walk-​in and had no problem getting serviced. Very clean area, very relaxing massage chairs.

Stopped by here after breakfast at Camellia’s — my boyfriend got a pedicure and I got a gel manicure. Much needed relaxation! My boyfriend couldn’t stop asking when we could go back so he could get another pedicure. The manicurist was attentive and did exactly what I want, which is a HUGE plus since sometimes manicurists just don’t listen and do what they want!

Awesome place to get a relaxing manicure and pedicure. They also do a great eyebrow wax. This salon is clean and in a great location near the Riverbend. I definitely recommend this place.

I wasn’t satisfied with my experience. They didn’t do what I requested. I was in and out but that isn’t always a good thing and wasn’t in this case. I’ll have to just find myself a new spot.

Ok, I’m a pedicure junkie and I used to get acrylic and gel manicures! I used to go to Fancy Nails on Magazine when April still owned it but now she’s moved to Oakwood mall and it just isn’t convenient because I live in Mid-​City now. This place is a little pricey for a pedicure but it’s worth it to me!
I really like this salon! It’s modern, pretty looking, with one flat screen tv which is not overwhelming (which it can be at other places). The massage chair is great, it’s clean. I went during the week so it was quiet and the lady that worked on my pedicure was friendly and respectful when I just wanted to look at my magazine or close my eyes.
I jokingly asked her if I could get a discount since I was going to be a grad student again but alas, the student discount is only for college kids. So ladies and gentleman, flash your student id and get your discount and let me live vicariously through you in terms of your discount!
I will definitely come back to just escape from it all. Total bonus being next to Camellia Grill and Pure yogurt! Parking is convenient in the parking lot where the Walgreens is located.

Really Bad !!! Don’t stop here for a manicure. I had one today after lunch nearby and it was the fastest manicure ever, the manicurist seemed to be racing to get me out. She did a very poor job, I pointed out hang nails I wanted removed which she didn’t do, she did very little. The worst $ 20 I have ever spent.
She did not use alcohol, cutlicle remover, nor did she use a good shaping board. I rarely treat myself to a manicure but needed one and I am on vacation so it was a perfect day to relax and have my nails done. I may never go to a nail salon again.
Extremely Disappointed. Do NOT walk-​in for any service here.
Definitely Nothing relaxing about this place.
