The Waldorf Astoria Spa

Came in to town for a large conference. Had a lovely experience at this spa. Booked a prenatal massage with Sharon and a facial with Thi. Both were sweet and made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. I will definitely come back next time I am in town. Very professional.

I just had a Hydrafacial with Cassandra and I am in love! The spa is the perfect mix of relaxing and clinical (I mean business with my skincare!) It was apparent my Esthititon was experienced, she was thorough and answered all my questions but also made sure I enjoyed a relaxing treatment. They have a discount for locals certain days of the week and a 6 month membership sign-​up as well, makes multiple trips to a high end spa totally affordable.

The spa was a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and took such good care of me. The wrap made my skin feel so smooth. I had also needed a pedicure for an event and the staff fit me in to get my nails done. It truly was one of the best parts of my New Orleans trip and will always be a part of future trips.

As a New Orleans tourist, I was looking for a nice luxurious spa to kick off my boyfriend’s birthday. I decided on the couples massage at the Waldorf Astoria spa. The spa had a welcoming and calming atmosphere. We were led to separate lockers and then a relaxation room with cucumber agua fresca, fruits and small snacks to nibble on as we waited for our massage therapists.
Cliff and Gina were fantastic. They asked for specific areas we would like them to focus on or any injuries/​areas they should avoid. They were wonderful throughout the massage. I love that they had tables that moved up and down by remote and rolling chairs, it made the flow of the massage so much better (they did not leave abruptly or for a long time to get oils or towels and the transitions between massage positions were smooth and elegant). Afterwards, they left the room and gave us some time alone to enjoy the chocolates and bottle of champagne provided with the couples massage selection.
Overall, it was a relaxing and romantic massage. My only complaint was that we felt slightly rushed. I didn’t realize that the therapists had given us a timeframe to enjoy the chocolates and champagne so it was a buzzkill when my bf told me they had said we had 15 minutes and they would be waiting for us when we were done. So we didn’t really get to enjoy the champagne at our own pace… it seemed like we were chugging champagne (I know, first world problems, right?). And when we were done and stepped out… there they were, waiting right outside the door… awkward… I immediately hoped I didn’t say anything stupid that they might have overheard.
