The Parlour

I just got back from The Parlour and made a Unilocal account specifically so I could give them 5 stars. Jennifer and Katie did my Dome monofibre extensions, and both of them were really nice and fun to be with while I sat through the process (which took a few hours). They were also perfectionists — Jennifer custom-​blended my extensions to perfectly match my real hair, and both spent a lot of time making sure that everything was perfect before I left. The result is that my hair looks absolutely amazing!
After I was done (at around 9, since they stayed open late to see me), it was taking the cab forever to get there, and both of them waited with me for over an hour and called multiple cab companies until the cab got there. Jennifer was even ready to drive me and my bike home if the cab hadn’t shown up.
Overall, GO TO THE PARLOUR. Hands-​down the best salon experience I’ve ever had.

Nicole did my makeup for our wedding about a month ago. She was very nice, used the colors I wanted, and made me look fabulous. The building itself was a little difficult to find, but the inside is lovely, and she met us at our venue right outside of the French Quarter.

This is a wonderful salon with very talented stylists. It has a warm, welcoming feel, with a contemporary flair, minus the pretentious atmosphere as some other higher-​end salons have. Erin has been cutting my hair for years, and still continues to amaze me. I highly recommend the Parlour to anyone… you will have nothing less than an excellent experience.

I have been going to Katie Brackvitch as my hair dresser for a couple years now. She recently moved to The Parlour, the new salon is amazing! The people that work there are all really nice and helpful. Katie does an awesome job with whatever new style I wanna try out on my hair. She loves trying out new techniques and styles on me and always gives me an outstanding, edgy haircut. She also has done some color work for some of my girl friends, she never ceases to amaze me with her skills. If you are looking for a new, trendy hair stylist definitely stop by The Parlour and give her a try. You won’t be disappointed!
