The most delicious libations! I loved the Flaming Monkey, concocted fresh right in front of me. So much better than the drinks from the adult slurpee machines that you’ll find all over the French Quarter and elsewhere. The drinks at the Organic Banana are made with real ingredients. I didn’t have one but the Pins Colada looked delicious too.

This is not your usual shop on the streets. Its more like a small hole in the wall setting in the French Market. You will find two guys with two juicers going at it every second. You will also find a reasonably long line. We ordered the only drink with amaretto in it. Boy, these guys turn the notch up on their alcohol serving. I found the drink to be too sweet and too strong. Trust me, I guess that’s how the Nola folks like their drink, I guess. Bottomline: Looking for a strong spiced up smoothie. look no further.

I had the mango smoothie and it was delicious. Creamy, fresh and natural flavors/taste.

Delicious and refreshing boozy drinks made with love! My group tried the Almond Freeze, which was a bit cinammon-y the Flaming Monkey, which was pretty much amazing, and the Bloody Mary was spicy and had a Louisiana kick. There’s a bit of a wait to get your order taken and receive your drink but it’ll be well worth it!

The guy making my drink seemed really mad, didnt bother me too much since he was really cute lol. I got a peach smoothie and the people I was with all got strawberry daiquiris and a tropical smoothie, they were all delicious and a perfect treat to have in the sun.

Every time I visit New Orleans I HAVE to have their Piña colada! They are creamy and will leave you with a little buzz by the time you are finished. Most of the time the bartenders are nice but I’ve come across 1 or 2 that don’t care to engage in any type of conversation with their guests. But oh well I know lines are long and they need to keep the line moving. I will always come back!

We always hit up The Organic Banana every time we’re in the French Market of New Orleans. Quite frankly, it’s the main reason why we go to the French Market. I’m not a fan of frozen margaritas, but The Organic Banana makes them super well and with fresh fruit! I always get the Mango Margarita. While the liquor is well liquor, it still doesn’t take away from the great taste. And not to sound like a lush, but their frozen margaritas taste good as a first drink at 11am :) Only in NOLA. It’s a definite must stop if you’re in the French Market.

Every time we visit the French Quarter for day drinking, we go to the Organic Banana and get either a spiked smoothie(I enjoy the Funky Monkey or the Pina Colada) or a Bloody Mary. They’re always delicious and they’re about the same price as those frozen daiquiris on Bourbon Street, but they’re soooo much better! And they’re organic, which is a nice bonus. The service is always prompt and polite. It makes meandering around the quarter extra nice.

Drinks are okay, but very bad services. The bartenders are very lazy, rude and unfriendly. There was a long line but the bartenders just stood aside and pretended not seeing the line. A lady walked toward them and ask for services. The bartenders scolded and asked her staying away. After 15 minutes waited in line, I finally was able to order my drink. I wanted two, but the bartender only have me one, and said one drink per customer. After I paid and the drink was ready. The bartender asked for extra tips before handing over the drink. That’s the most ridiculous experience I ever got from a public bar. Highly not recommend.

First of all, there is NOTHING organic about this place, with added unknown additives/preservatives in unlabeled bottles that they call«juice.» This«juice» look like candied syrup with strong artificial flavor. Second, the price for one smoothie is absolutely outrageous, at $ 6! Thats more than enough to get me TWO real organic smoothies at any big city. Lastly, the tall lady with red bright hair and tattoos was extremely rude when I ordered a smoothie. I gave her a $ 10 bill, and she took the bill, held it up against the light to see if it was a fake! seriously… $ 10?! She also was not happy with my question of whether i can just get the fruit and ice without all that added«juice» or «yogurt.» of course the response was a NO. My smoothie tasted terrible, the artificial syrup taste was absolutely overwhelming! Do Not expect to get anything organic or real natural from this place.

Refreshing smoothies at the French Market. We got the piña colada and mango smoothie. Made within seconds. Not too sweet as it uses fresh fruits and no additives. The only downside was that everything was made with either yogurt our ice cream. Not sure if you can sub it out with something else, if you’re intolerant.

How a frozen cocktail should taste like. Located in the French Market, this place was just great. They use real fruit and blend it with just the right amount of ice and liquor. You cannot taste the liquor until it hits you at the end. Glad that we got to try this place and wish all frozen cocktails tasted like this.

I usually don’t leave any reviews, but my experience needed to be shared. I traveled to NOLA for 3 days and everyday I made sure to stop by this place to grab a drink. The first and second days were absolutely great. The service was good and drinks fantastic. I was served by two different people both times. I tipped pretty well when compared to the people in front me. On the third day, the woman with the pink hair had such a bad and sour attitude towards me that I decided not to go back. After she questioned I was 21(I’m 25), she glared at me in the face the entire time she made my drinks. I even offered to show her another form of ID and she replied with«I’m just doing my job». I left it at that and wanted to get out of there. So much so, that the people behind me tapped me on the shoulder to assure me I didn’t do anything wrong. I gave her the same amount tip as I did the first and second days.

I don’t know if I should be admitting this anywhere, but every time I travel to New Orleans, I have to stop at The Organic Banana and order an Almond Freeze(with a banana added) for the road. By that time, I’ve generally been in New Orleans three or four days and had at least two of them in the days before that. The Organic Banana is the only thing that keeps me going to the French Market. Promise you won’t regret it.

This hit the holy grail of smoothies for me, absolutely delicious, and fresh, they offer liquor in the drinks as well. They are a bit pricey, 6 – 10 a drink. But we’ll worth it, they are quite yummy, must visit if you’re in the french market

Overrated. Mayyybe I got the wrong thing but the daiquiris and margarita had little alcohol and included syrups instead of only fresh fruit. My friend’s non-alcoholic smoothie was much better, but just a normal smoothie.

Sweet mama that Bloody Mary was amazing. It was my first New Orleans Bloody Mary. Pickled green beans?!? Phenomenal! Great blend of spices and herbs and a good amount of heat! Not too expensive, couldn’t have been more than $ 6 or so. Definitely worth the visit for the Bloody Mary!

Flaming monkey drink has baileys, 151, banana and coconut cream. Awesome because it was just enough alcohol without it being too sweet. Loved this place!
