My entire work wardrobe is from The Limited and I always get compliments. In store, they have great biweekly sales. The entire store will be 40% off. I signed up for their email updates online to notify me of all the sales and once a month or so, they’ll have online sales that will be 50% everything(in store only 40%) and sometimes select items will be 60% off. The scandal collection is entirely based off of Kerry Washington’s character in the series«Scandal» with elegant, clean pieces that are mostly light creams, light neutrals and white. Very polished and put together. I shop infrequently and if I don’t find anything, I’ll ask the managers when the next floor set is and what items will be coming out. They usually hint at something like: «Oh, for our next floor set we’ll have a lot more florals and bright colors» or «the next floor set isn’t for another two weeks, so come back and check!» I like to shop during the weekdays bc it’s quieter and the sales rep are very attentive. On the weekends it can get very busy, but it’s not crazy like F21, by any means. It’s not like you need a venti, non-fat latte and a pep-talk to stay patient in order to shop successfully. I save that for Forever21. :)

Salespeople are judgemental. I went there after work one day in my office clothes and was treated like a queen. I was asked often if I needed help, had a fitting room started, check out was a breeze. All smiles! I went 2 weeks later same time of day in my gym clothes… I actually recognized a few of the same associates. I was ignored the entire time. It wasn’t an off day because I watched them tend to other people just as they had done with me just a few weeks prior. I guess I didn’t look like the type to spend a lot of money… a true«Pretty Woman» experience! They were lucky I wasn’t a secret shopper.
