The Alamo Underground which used to be located in Mid City has recently opened on Freret. I came for movie night thursday but due to technical difficulties it was postponened. No matter, they have good beer prices ($ 2 – 6, depening on how «hipster» you are/​drink) and there was a comedy act and a music act happening. There’s also a bagel bar in case you get a little toroidal hunger.
Bonus: There was also no cover for any of it. I’ll for sure be coming back again!
