Literally the dirtiest nail salon I have ever been in. It was actually DIRTY! No cleaning fluids in sight, towels looked old and raggedy, and then there was a limited color selection(China Glaze only). There was even a dog walking around! The people were nice enough(why I didn’t walk out on sight, I actually felt bad… silly me) and they did good work. That couldn’t make up for this discomfort I felt though. But they are open late on Sundays(gasp!) and I haven’t gotten a staph infection… yet.

Now I only took off one star because it isn’t the prettiest salon on the inside but hey, they do the job! I came in on a Sunday afternoon close to when they were going to close and they took me in because I really needed some pampering. I was very nervous about getting a pedicure because even though I have monthly pedicures my regular guy cut my cuticles and made both of my large toes bleed even after I told him that it hurt after the first toe(yes, I’m a pushover, augh!). I told the lady to just push my cuticles back. Well, they treated me like a queen and the owner, herself came over and personally did my toes. She promised me she would go easy and that she would not hurt me. I explained to her my hesitation and she was very patient and understanding. She also had an awesome price and had a special for pedicures. She even has a frequent buyer card so if you get a refill for 9 times then you get a new set, and for a refill it’s $ 10 off. I used to get gel nails and acrylic nails on my hands but stopped because I hate that clicking sound when I’m typing. Plus I had to cut down on my budget! So now if I’m on the Westbank I would definitely go back there! The owners son and daughter work here too. It’s a family affair! I also saw a lady and her daughter getting their nails down and they were regulars. They told me they overheard my story and reassured me that she was the best. It made me feel better!
