The crab is definitely my favorite here. My BF get the crawfish which I don’t care too much for because I think its too much work for a little piece of meat. Anywho, I come to this place every year when I travel to N.O. for the 4th of July. The seafood is Crazy good here but I’ve never had the asian food there so I can’t give any review about that, thats not why i come here anyway. I get about 3 or 4 pounds of snow crab, I did notice the prices did go up by a few bucks, but worth it every time. its seasoned to perfection and also makes my taste buds dance. If you ever get a chance, COMEHERE. This is a place where you have to visit at least once. Have fun and Good Eats !

I stopped by because me and my husband were in the mood for some seafood. First, the staff were very nice and welcoming. I ordered the regular shrimp and catfish plate and oh my, the catfish was delicious. My husband ordered the shrimp and oyster po boy and it was overstuffed! The shrimp were mighty big. After we ate we saw that they had some cake and pie. We tried this butter cake they said was card ooey gooey, that was delicious. Overall, I think this was the best seafood restaurant I have ever dined at.

The place is run down and dirty. The staff is not friendly or welcoming. I ordered the grilled shrimp platter, jumbo size. The price on the sign is 13.99. Yet I was charged 14.99. Because the cashier had already proven to be unconcerned with customer service, I just didn’t argue over $ 1. These prices do not include drinks. My spouse ordered sweet & sour chicken $ 6.99. Reasonably priced. We returned to our hotel to find NOSAUCE. Dry fried chicken No sweet & sour. So we returned to the restaurant where we were given a lumpy(jam like) cup of something resembling sweet & sour. I had not even realized until returning to the hotel room, once again, that I had NO salad dressing &NO sauce for my shrimp. I was to frustrated to drive back & beg for condiments The food was meh. Of the $ 14.99 shrimp platter the fries were the best thing. I’m not saying the fries were the best I ever had, just the best thing on that OVERPRICED plate. My spouse said the so called sweet & sour chicken was’t very good. But he was hungry enough to eat it anyway . Skip this one… You’ll be more satisfied with carry out from KFC, Subway, McDonalds Taco Bell, Papa Johns. All nearby

Very disappointed from the moment I walked in. The host and the man that took our order wasn’t friendly at all and the quality of food was horrible. I would of been more satisfied with a McChicken from McDonald’s. I ordered 2 lbs of crawfish which took about 2 seconds for them to give me. It was cold and stale. I was actually excited they had Chinese food, so I ordered Mandarin Chicken thinking it would be mediocre, wrong. It was nasty with fatty pieces of chicken and a thick layer of gravy. Save your time and money! :)

Went here after not wanting to drive all the way out to Metry or Slidell. If you are a west coast health freak, dont bother coming here, the only salad they have is a grilled chicken salad, which I ordered and was good by the way. My dining partner had 2 lbs of boiled crawfish, turkey neck and an order of ooey goeey. That ooey gooey is off the chain yall. I went home and googled it and looked for the recipe. Anyways, I almost want to say that the place is or may be under new ownership. There is a counter, go in, check out the menu, place your order, pay for your food and pay attention to your ticket number because they will call it out for you to. Cant hear it while the Cosby show was blasting but you should if you arent standing by the counter. The menu is big and no there is no paper menu so you have to stand there and strain to see everything on the menu. They do have boiled crawfish, shrimp, turkey necks and lotsa ooey gooey cake – that Ill take 4 of. Also, there are some chinese items as well, there combo dishes are pretty reasonable given that the price of food is rising. Typical po-boy place in the hood. Chicken wang and everythang! Id come back again only if I was back to weighing 110. LOL cash and credit accepted, you can take out or dine in. great for large groups.

This place has a little of everything! I took a co-worker who had just moved here to get her first po-boy(hot roast beef, of course!). It was lunchtime, but they served us quickly and the price was fair for the size of the sandwich. Their menu is MASSIVE. It has chinese food, cajun-ish food, po-boys, french fries and other varied types of food. I recommend this place to people who are going in groups and can’t decide what they want. There is ample seating in the back for large parties. Yes, it’s a little confusing and unkempt, but for the East, it’s a nice change from all the corporate-owned chains, and there are very few locally owned businesses in the area. Check this place out if you can’t decide what you want to eat, or want a good po-boy, but don’t go in expecting a fancy atmosphere. It is what it is.

My family and I went to this restaurant/take-out place, where it appeared slightly dirty… but first impressions usually aren’t completely right. For New Orleans standards, this place was well kept up, and the food was pretty good. The shrimp & oyster po-boy was really good… so good I ate it in about a minute. We also tried the gumbo and red bean & rice combination, and both are good choices, with the gumbo being mildly spicy and the red bean for those who like a more Asian flavor. The only problem was that the gumbo was lacking considerable amounts of seafood(only a few shrimps to be found in the quart-size container, the rest was sausages and onions), which seemed to me a cost-cutting measure. Overall, not bad though… the flavor was more than enough to win me over :) They also gave us a few garlic bread pieces. which I presumed went with the gumbo. This place also offers Chinese food, so those who want even more Asian food can go to this place. The combination plate w/broccoli was okay. not great, but not bad either. The fried rice on the other hand, was a bit stale. Good effort on the Chinese food, but I think that area could use some work :)
