Sadly closing on August 31st but you can score some deals while they are open. I purchased a couple of gifts and a new table today. Like most places, not everything screams my name… but it might holler yours. Even at the sale prices, much of the stuff is really high end. But it’s also beautiful and the sister who helped me today couldn’t have been lovelier. Good luck on your next endeavor, ladies…

We started our sojourn down Magazine Street at The Shop of the Two Sisters. You know how some interior design stores are owned by… well. the snotty kind of people? Well this one is not. The women working there were friendly and genuinely happy we were there. I think one was named Lee. I found an awesome leather rocking chair – yup this was not your granny rocking chair – which I fell in love with and will purchase when and if I ever need one. They also had an array of rugs and furniture. It was great to get out of the quarter and explore other parts of the city. The Shop of the Two Sisters was a great start.
