So today was my first experience in the world of home painting; and it couldn’t have gone any better. I showed up with very little understanding of how the process might work. Which would have typically made me a perfect target to be taken advantage of. The exact opposite happened however. The reason was the angel that is Angie. From the start, she was super easy going and willing to work with a complete novice. She guided me through each decision on the varying options of paint by color, type, and finish. On top of that she continually helped me to find the best deals in my budget and helped find online coupons as well. I couldn’t thank her enough. She saved me hundreds of dollars. More than anything — you could tell she was doing this with such a good nature. I couldn’t help but be reminded of the movie Amelie. It’s a French film in which the heroine takes pleasure in improving the lives of those around her. This review may sound absurd, but it was a transcendental moment in which paint wasn’t relevant. It was the kindness of a previous stranger. I took away a great appreciation for the buying experience. But more so, a wonderful thought that I’d like to pass on that same kindness to another. The experience was infectious. Thank you for opening my eyes.
