This is my go-​to knitting store. I have shopped at all the different shops in town, but this is my home-​base. The owners are wonderful and helpful and know their craft. And their selection is great – they focus on yarns that are meant to be knit and worn in New Orleans – think cottons and bamboos and linens… And then wools for our winters.
They also specialize is needlepoint canvases that are NOLA icons – K&B, McKenzie’s, Leidenheimer, etc. that, when completed, are about the size of Christmas tree ornaments. Even though I don’t do needlepoint, I can’t resist savoring all these local goodies when I visit their shop.
