if you’re looking to buy masquerade masks and mardi gras beads, this is the best place to go in the french quarter. the store is huge and they have a really great assortment. i had to buy props for an event i was doing during NBA all star weekend and i trolled up and down decatur looking for the best deals for the best quality items. a lot of the other stores down this street are overpriced but also owned by the same people so there’s no competitive pricing. in fact, if you start at the west end of the street the prices start out higher and get mildly cheaper as you go down. this was one of the stores that had an independent owner and she was super friendly and helpful. her store staff was really nice as well.

Cute little touristy-sourvenir shop in the Quarter. I stopped in because they had good deals on t-shirts. They basically sell the same stuff as everyone else – how do these stores stay in business? But the prices were good and so I got two t-shirts for $ 20, whereas those same t-shirts on Bourbon street would be $ 20 each.
