I was here last Friday, about 20 mins after open. It took a while to be served even tho I was the sole customer bc the two people working were engaged in a deep discussion about another coworker and how she doesn’t wash her hands. They even demonstrated what surfaces the coworker touches(espresso machine, eg) with dirty hands. I asked if there were any baked goods, and was directed to the day old options, I think bc they hadn’t gotten around to putting today’s options out and didn’t want to be bothered. Oh yeah, my mocha was lukewarm, at best. I tipped, I left, I tried to smile. But I won’t be coming back. If you own this place, please do customer service training and maybe some hand cleanliness review as well.

I happened upon St Coffee thanks to a Google suggestion and I was not disappointed! They made the best chai tea I’ve ever had, hands down. Spicy and not too sweet, it was a delightful beverage and I highly recommend grabbing one of you’re in the area.

Delicious iced coffee in a smaller, grittier, quirky hole in the wall setting. Their almond croissant might be the best damn almond croissant I’ve ever had. Juicy deliciousness. Good lord, you must get it. *PS– adorable puppy alert! One of the baristas had a cute little one greeting customers when we walked in.

Very good iced coffee. I wish they offered larger sizes though. The service has always been prompt and the employees friendly.

I stopped in here for a quick cup of iced coffee, since I happened to be in the area. The shop is small and very quaint and the woman working was nice and welcoming and happy to make chit chat with the customers. I love the atmosphere here. You almost feel as if you are in someone’s house and the weather was nice on the day I was here, so the door was open. My iced coffee was delicious and potent. I like that you can add you own milk or cream, as I like to gauge how much I want in my coffee on a particular day. The«large» iced coffee is on the smaller side, as compared to other shops, but it’s nice and strong without being overbearing or making me jittery. In other words– it was pretty perfect.

I had a double shot and a muffin. the espresso was fine… the muffin was dry. I liked the ambience and most of the orders were to go, so I didn’t feel pressured to sit and chill with my friend for an hour. that being said, I wasn’t blown away. maybe just a good spot to hop in for coffee, not baked goods. I liked that they had canned Perrier(lol)

I really like this place. It is small, mostly wooden chairs and tables, and some interesting and fantastic painting on the walls. Funky cool music was played at a volume where you can hear it, but still have a nice conversation. The coffee is a good price, and as someone who drinks his coffee black, I can tell you they use good beans. Community events and flyers are posted on the wall by the door, so this is a good little place to check out what is going on. I’ll be coming back for sure

Coffee. The precious, hot black fluid of life. They serve it strong and hot. Nice little coffee shop that was a block from our rental. We met our realtor to plan our adventures of house hunting.

You know how sometimes you forget to buy coffee when you are at the store? Enter the Saint Coffee. Edgy. Eclectic. Welcoming. If you walk, there is ample seating. If you drive, there is ample parking. Their coffee game is strong and I like it. And I like their donuts. Glad they are in my hood. I always feel welcome here. I thank you. My occasional hangovers also thank you.

So I stumbled on on this place on a whim. And whimsy was the recurring theme. The space is clean and artsy, and lawd the patrons are equally abstract. I didn’t have any coffee but my coworkers did and they said it was great. I will have to come back for a cup and to see what else they offer. Definitely a cute and quaint spot!

Stopped in to do some work and a cup of iced coffee and I was surprised by how nice this shop is. The service is great and the serve good coffee with local Binder’s pastries. The shop is small but there is extra seating outside if its a cool day. My only complaint is that they close at 5pm which I think is a little early since this would be a good stop for coffee after work. If your on a bike this is a good stop too and taking credit cards is always a plus.

*Oh Saint Coffee, I should be offering prayers, but instead I offer praise* With it being but a(extra dark roast) coffee bean’s throw from my house + those friendly, speedy baristas(including one of my favorites, formerly from Orange Couch), tasty cold brew, not one but two non dairy milk options *and* vegan offerings for lunch and treats(haven’t tried these yet), Saint Coffee is quickly becoming my go-to for coffee on the go. I wouldn’t mind spending more time in there, though I haven’t really been dwelling at coffee shops when I’m in town, probably because it’s where I spend most of my days when traveling for work. It’s small/cozy inside, but they have a really nice side patio, too, though on nice days it may be hard to get that coveted outdoor seating! I love all the local art they have going on in there and right now there’s some interesting jewelry, too. This place really offers up that quintessential Marigny/St. Roch/St. Claude neighborhood feel. Full disclosure: I may have an extra soft spot for Saint Coffee because it reminds me an awful lot of my former business, The Lucky Cat, when it was more of a coffeehouse and less of a bar/club.

Cool little spot! Super hipster staff and patrons, but I guess I am a little hipster myself :) They have all types of coffee, carefully hand crafted and poured drinks. They have some food that I haven’t gotten around to trying yet, but my husband claims the doughnuts are delicious. Funky murals and various posters about concerts and other local events cover the wood walls. This little coffee shop has a really cool atmosphere, that is difficult to describe, but where you feel like you can just be yourself! I really like popping in for coffee on a Saturday morning and just relaxing.

TRANSPLANTFEAUX EPITOMEOFINAUTHENTICDOUCHEYMARIGNWATER: Transplant parked cars all have front license plates. Transplant«gourmet coffee» is bitter and overpriced. Transplant staff are vapidly distant. Transplants wear T-shirts like«Ohio State» or «El Paso». Transplants rave about poser Booty’s lame bit coins. Been here during the early morning & in the afternoon… seems a pretty cool place. Fairly constant flow of people in and out. Lots of regulars. Great disposition of the gentleman on the other side of the counter as he takes & fills your order. Food items are delivered to your table if it requires a wait. There’s a self serve area for tweak your coffee or other items. Artwork on the walls, some for sale, adorn the place for a eccentric, mellow yellow kinda vibe. Narrow two seating tables allow for maximizing of space. Although the space is intimate, it works. Some people sit outside in the front, great view of the street & all things Marigny/Bywater… Some people sit outside on the back patio… Then others take their items to go… Anyhow you do it, it works. Free WiFi is way cool. A water jug & cups sit out for thirst quenching breaks as needed. I found the pricing to be fair as well. There’s a little lot off to the side, idk if it’s for tenants or the coffee shop, either way, I suggest street parking. Summertime hours means closing early, like 5ish. And there’s a five dollar minimum on credit card transactions.

The bagels were from somewhere else, and they were stale, so don’t go here for bagels. The coffee on the other hand was really good. They had a nice little fridge with vegetarian/vegan snacks, and my traveling companion really liked that. Overall, I’d be willing to try this again, but this is not a bagel store, as Unilocal sort of suggested.

This place is borderline 4 stars. I’m not sure why baristas seem to think they have to have this sullen attitude. Points for being willing to blend nonfat with whole milk but that point taken away d/t attitude. It’s not my fault you don’t carry low fat and yes there is a difference in taste! Coffee was really really good but that point gets taken away due to laziness/arrogance of not using a thermometer so it was mildly warmer than luke-warm. Lose the attitude if you’re not going to serve top-notch espresso drinks!

Really friendly barista and AMAZING pastries– get the apple fritter that is(no kidding) the size of someone’s head. Only $ 2! Also, the donuts are better than crispy crème’s. Coffee is really good, too, although I’ve been getting a large, soy latte, with extra espresso and it’s $ 5.15, which I think is a little expensive(but cheaper than NYC).

I absolutely love St. Coffee… a small artsy coffee shop located in the Bywater. The quality of the ingredients and the care of the workers makes all the difference. They have many options to choose from which for me is a plus because unlike a lot of coffee drinkers who have their standard drink, I like to mix it up. They also have a little variety of baked goods for sale as well. Pros Personal touch Quality ingredients Reasonable prices Cons Sometimes limited seated
