Nice areas for seating and working on a laptop. Friendly staff, slightly expensive($ 2.50 for a 12oz coffee)

So excited to have them in the neighborhood! Barista was friendly and quick, patient with my malfunctioning credit card and the latte was awesome.

I go to cafes often to work, this place is a god send to the neighborhood. There’s tons of little nooks you can hide in to concentrate. There’s outside tables. The baristas are really great. The coffee and tea are quite delicious. There was a table of affordable books which made me really happy. The menu offers healthy and affordable options– that appear to be made in house. Very, very excited about their extension of hours.

We are visiting and stayed a few blocks away from thus cute coffee shop! The location is unassuming off of the street, but what a great patio! We had the cold brew, a vanilla latte, and a reg coffee, and a chicory coffee. The cold brew was some of the best I’ve had! Everyone liked theirs!

When I was driving past their new location on St. Claude I could hardly believe it! «Fair Grinds moved from the Fairgrounds to St. Claude?!» No, even better, it’s their new, second location. And I love it. Another coffee option that’s within walking distance. The new location has plenty of outdoor seating in the alleyway leading up to the shop, which is smallish, but there’s a fair amount of seating and outlets inside, too. As you may or may not know, Fair Grinds has a mission behind their coffee(fair trade, locally sourced baked goods — didn’t see any vegan treats, but hopefully they’ll add some). The iced coffee is cold drip and that’s just what I needed on a recent steamy Saturday. Oh and a really nice barista serving up the brews. I suspect I’ll be a regular quite soon. Although I’m more of a grab & go kinda gal, I also have been known to set up shop and work for a couple hours in local coffee shops in town. I can easily see myself doing so in this sweet spot. Thanks for opening up in our neck of the woods, Fair Grinds!

4⁄5 bright loving the colors. i already feel more awake just walking up, super vibrant and lovely. I like how this space has an interesting layout — I feel like there are nooks and spaces you can tuck away into. a friend’s art(prints of all kinds) is currently on display, and they already have a bunch of community space things happening. I love the walk up to the space and the benches outside. today, I’m grabbing a refreshing strawberry lemonade that has a slight sparkle carbonation — hurrah!
