Yummilicious! Better than I remember. I got half of the buffalo chicken slim(bc feta goes better with buff sauce than cheddar) and a cup of potato soup. The soup was just okay. The wrap was tasty!!! I’m very content with our lunch choice today. :) Just a few blocks from home and fairly inexpensive, this will most likely become our go-to.

I like the salads and sandwiches here. The salads have lots of veggies in them and the wraps are tasty. Good portions sizes that don’t overwhelm; you leave feeling like you didn’t destroy your waistline or your digestive system. It’s a good, easy stop if you are in the area at lunchtime and need something quick that isn’t fast food. They people working here are always pretty friendly. My big complaint is last time I was here I paid with a twenty and instead of getting a 10 and some 1’s back I got all ones so I ended up paying $ 16 for my effing salad!!! I didn’t realize the mistake until I was already at home scarfing said salad. Oh well. It’s a satisfactory option but won’t blow your mind. Also, won’t give you bad gas or put you into a food coma either, so it’s a trade off.

The food is just alright. It isn’t anything spectacular. However, The mushroom soup is very good. Other then that, it’s just overpriced.

NOT impressed! Waited 30 minutes for two wraps. My hot wrap was barely warm and my daughter’s wrap included all the items she’s allergic to that I specifically asked they exclude. They replaced her wrap about 25 minutes later after everyone whose order was placed after mine and before I’d complained was first filled. They still got the order wrong but the items she’s allergic to were thankfully omitted.

I ate at this joint a few times before I knew it was a chain. I used to work in the area so this was a convenient lunch spot but I really never found it all that great but I tried many of their offerings before I just got bored with it. When it first opened it seemed like WAY too many people were getting catering from this place so I quickly got burned out on almost everything here. For a chain type place its an ok sandwich type experience but I think I would rather go to Subway. I doubt I would ever eat here again as I’m just left with a huge feeling of MEH about it…

Roly Poly is always hit or miss for me. It’s convenient, so I go there when I’m out running errands and just want something fast. Sometimes it is so good, but more than once it has been much less than that. I’ll usually give a place a couple chances, people make mistakes. Last time I went the staff were all hanging out in the back, leaving me and another customer waiting well over ten minutes for our small orders. Because they just weren’t doing anything. I finally got my food, and went home. I ordered the chicken fajita because it’s usually packed with veggies. This time it was just a few pieces of chicken. Nothing else. I understand leaving out one ingredient or forgetting sauce, but forgetting everything? I want people to have fun at work, and I’m kind of jealous of how much fun they’re having that they can completely space out.

The Santa Fe chicken is SO good. I first tasted Roly Poly during Voodoo fest a few years ago and started coming here shortly thereafter. They’re a little expensive for sandwich wraps, but they’re really good! If you get the food to go, sometimes the dressing makes it soggy, which is annoying… but, like I said, it’s really good.

Roly Poly is the Bee’s Knees! Their wraps are great, the service is quick, and the staff is extremely friendly. This place gets a big Yeah You Right!

Ok, if I didn’t live within walking distance, I probably wouldn’t eat hear as often as I do. I usually walk here every 2 weeks or so on a weekend, when I can’t think of anywhere else to go. That being said, I always enjoy what I order, which is limited. I’m not a big meat eater, recently committed to being pescatarian. They do have great fish and vegetarian choices. I love their shrimp and corn bisque and the thai tuna wrap. I’ve always been happy with their service. Very friendly and adequately timely.

I have gone here a few times to eat and ordered from here several times for delivery. The ONLY reason I do is because my girlfriend likes them for whatever reason. Service when ordering for delivery is HORRIFYINGSLOW. The lady I placed my order with told me it would take«20 to 25 minutes» It has been an hour and my TWO sandwiches and soup I ordered aren’t here yet. I called to ask the status of my order and she told me «they should be there within the next 15 minutes» … WHAT? If you tell a customer their order will be there in 20 to 25 minutes when it’s going to take an hour and a half to get there – it’s just not acceptable. Every single time I have placed an order for delivery, they forget to put the sauce in that goes with the sandwiches. This time my girlfriend specifically asked and made sure that the sauces that go with our sandwiches are going to be included, and the girl said yes. We shall see if they actually are. Oh yes this time we got the sauces. Order JUST showed up literally an hour and a half after we placed it. Also the delivery person tried to give us a drink that we didn’t order. If we had taken it, someone else would be out a drink right now. And the sandwiches themselves are ok. I’ll give them that – some of them are OK. But when they take extended periods of time to get here, your hot sandwich turns cold and most of the time like others have said, it’s mushy. Also, most of the time that we have ordered soup, they end up having to call us back 15 minutes later to say that they don’t actually have that soup. Seriously DON’T go here, spare yourself from the misery.

Roly Poly is a good lunch spot, but perhaps a lesser known fact is that Roly Poly is a great choice for catering. In my field of work, I often have to incentivize attendance and participation with food. Roly Poly party platters are delicious and affordable($ 35.95). Each platter contains five Roly Poly wraps cut up into 3 – 4 pieces. You can choose an already selected platter, like the All Veggie Platter or the Hot Stuff Platter, or you can create your own platter. The wraps are tasty and always seem fresh. There is another catering option, which for $ 8.25 per person includes sandwich platters, chips or sides, cookies, and drinks(gallons of lemonade or iced tea). Your order also comes with napkins, plates, cups, ice, and utensils. That is very helpful when you are rushing around setting up an event and the last thing you have time for are those little details. Roly Poly is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. In my experiences it has always been a crowd pleaser. Next time you’re trying to feed a group – at home or at work – consider Roly Poly as an option.

Man, this is hard to write. I love roly poly. Yes, it’s a chain. However, I can find veggie wraps/salads that are delicious. Their site even has a nifty chart showing which dressings/wraps have gluten/eggs/allergens, which is helpful when selecting a vegan/vegetarian meal. I also LOVE the hand drawn pictures that one of the managers proudly displays. Wraps doing all sorts of different things. One yesterday was a wrap stating proudly«I AMNOT A PITA!» Why isn’t this 5 stars? Well, the quality is pretty inconsistent. Our food was a mess and flavorless yesterday, but other times it’s awesome. The prices are a bit high, although I give them props for lowering the prices for veggie sandwiches. I always like to eat here when I am in a hurry and uptown, but I don’t go out of my way to do so. It fills me up, but it’s not a craving.

DELICIOUS. I stopped here during Mardi Gras to get a bite to eat before the chaos started. It was a delicious success-this was after I initally went to McCalisters across the street(b/c I saw it first), stood in line behind 3 people for 5 minutes and decided to leave b/c the service was so slow. As I walked out, I noticed that the line behind me was about 5 people deep! I’m glad that I decided to go to Roly Poly Sandwiches after my sad McCalister’s experience just moments before. The service was QUICK the food was GREAT(try the California Hummer-wow) and it was less expensive than I expected. I will certainly be back!!!

My friend Scott and I decided to stop here on our way to some Uptown parades. I had never been here before, so I was excited to try it. The first thing that impressed me was the fantastic selection of different sandwiches and wraps. They have everything from chicken to tuna to vegetarian options. They also have salads. I’m not sure what Scott ordered, but he decided to go with a «small»(6 inch) pressed sandwich. I decided on a «small» chicken caesar wrap. I really liked mine, and Scott and I both agreed that it was a good snack. If I were to go back, I would definitely get a «large», because the small is good for a little munch, but if you are looking for an actual meal, then you are going to want a little bit more. It’s a good healthy option, if you are in the mood for a sandwich that isn’t a po boy.

I hope that the Gods of New Orleans don’t smite me for yet again going to a CHAIN restaurant for my lunch, BUT I had a good feeling about this place. I was tipped off by someone I met while substituting in the area, but that time I went across the street to McAlister’s(which if you go there instead of here like one reviewer said – do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars and go straight to jail; see my review of McAlister’s). Anyways, my interest was piqued by it because it looks like a small shiny tin shack on the corner. I didn’t feel like stopping in at a busy magazine street restaurant so I hopped over here for lunch to-go. There’s outdoor seating as well as indoor. The inside is more spacious than I thought, and also a lot nicer and different than what I thought it would be. Walking in it became clear to me very quickly that this was another chain. Overall, it’s nice, but not too nice(i.e. the marble tabletops at McAlister’s). I’ll say new but unpretentious. The menu is the main attraction, sporting all kinds of wraps, hot-pressed and regular cold ones, as well as soups and other standard stuff. It’s almost like the smoothie king of wrap places in that there are so many interesting combinations broken into chicken, turkey, and beef with lots of vegetarian options in between. I got the Basil Cashew Chicken wrap. It was pretty good. I love cashews, basil, and hot sauces and the chicken was tender and the occasional smear of avocado was nice as well. The wrap cost almost $ 7, but was larger than I envisioned, coming to about a foot in length and 2 inches in diameter. The service and turnaround from the time I ordered until the time I got my sandwich was quick at about five minutes. Everyone else there seemed to be getting quick service as well, so I’m not exactly sure what the other reviewers experienced. Then again, it was 1pm on a Wednesday. I won’t be back here every day of the week to try every sandwich, but I do see some things on the menu I would like to try and could see myself grabbing a wrap to-go from time to time if I’m in the area.

I went here some time late 2009. Not a good sandwich or anything. First off, I ordered online… but when I got there my order was not ready. I wasn’t in a hurry so whatever. The staff was friendly and everything. But they were out of the soup I ordered. So I had to have another soup. The food was poorly prepared. My sandwich has pesto mayo but way too much. And the sandwich was very very thin. The soup was so-so but nothing to rave about. Even my drink tasted terrible. Never again. Never again. I had high hopes too since the Roly Poly in Lafayette was really good. But never again. I should have gone to the McAllister’s around the corner. I suggest you too do the same.

Sometimes I want a delicious, crispy, authentic, locally sourced, dressed po boy. Other times I want something quick & healthy. Those times I turn to Roly Poly. Yes — its a chain. So what? Its good! I’ve ordered probably 12 different wraps over several years and I think I’ve enjoyed all of them. Some are better than others — generally the low-cal ones aren’t as good. Go figure!

love this place, its a nice change of pace for the average new orleanian… NOT only that, but the ideas behind the wraps, are varied with many surprizes… I always have a hard time deciding, and always try something new… Just wish they were in my neighborhood… I found this by accident, and whenever this far up town? I stop by for lunch… the soups are good too… service friendly, and a very busy place… Love it… healthy, and filling.

Slow service, slow delivery, faulty phone ordering. An hour to get two sandwiches? And since it was supposed to be hot, and it wasn’t, it was lame. just a mushy wrap, with no distinct flavors.
