Was denied of serivice. About a week ago. Story: My boyfriend and I walked into the store for two things, a pack of cigarettes that I would be buying, and for him, Theraflu(two seperate transactions). As we waited in line, two of our friends came in and started talking to us. As we got to the register, I asked for a pack of Marlboro Reds and I had my ID ready since I am a regular. I come in every weekend when I leave the dormatory to stay with my parents and buy my dad the same thing, cigarettes and beer. But as the lady behind the register grab the cigarette and turns around, she said, «Alright, I’m gonna need to see all ya’ll’s ID, I saw yall all walk in together, it’s the law.» We all had our ID except for one person, so she could not sell it to me. I was frustrated because I have never been in this situation where an entire group of people have to show their IDs even if they had no intention to buy cigarettes or anything at all,(the two did not even come in with me!) but I let it go since I can just go elsewhere. What really puzzled me was when my boyfriend wanted to buy his theraflu, he was really sick and you can definately hear it in his voice, she gave him the«look» and he was like«What? I need to show ID for this too?» And she said«Yeah, you can’t buy this either cause he dont got his ID.»(We were all 21 and older might I add) We just left after that. It is funny because the night before, I came in there with the same group of people and brought a case of Bud Light for my dad. A different lady sold it to me without any problems and the next day after the incident, I came in with my dad, another lady at the register did not even ask for my ID. So. maybe we just got unlucky and got the wrong person. Overall, I was very unsatisfied.

It is what it is, it’s a convenience store with spotty service but when it’s good it’s really good. Prices are higher than Walgreens but they often have a lot of items on clearance.
