This place makes good snowballs and assorted snacks at far better prices than many of the other more popular snowball joints. The neighborhood definitely still has authentic Central City eccentricities with things like Ya Ka Mein and people banging on the window of the snowball stand yelling about money they think was charged wrong. It is usually a really quick turn around and faster than many of the other snowball joints about town.

We are from out-​of-​town, and my sister wanted a snowball. We found the Red Rooster online and decided to go. We unknowingly arrived just as they were closing up, and they opened it just for our group! It was so nice. The ice of the snowball was extremely smooth. It was very sweet but very good. Next time we’re in town, we’ll definitely come to this place again!

This remains my go to place for Ya Ka Mein. It is a real treat and it is always good. If you are in the area, check them out.
